"Idol" Ramiele's Kryptonite?

Ramiele MalubayTMZ spoke with Ramiele Malubay's Spanish teacher at Zephyrhills High School, who distinctly remembers something that could knock Rammy off "American Idol" -- she's extremely allergic to peanuts!

This could be vital information for fellow "Idol" contestants who might want to sabotage Ramiele if they ever feel she's a threat. Fortunately, based on previous performances, that probably won't be an issue.

47. I also have a 5 yr old son with severe peanut allergy about to enter the school system. My first thought was "WTF!" as well. TMZ needs to remove this, apologize VERY publicly, and fire the numbskull who posted it. How did this get past review? UNBELIEVABLE!!! No Chance AOL will ever get a dime from me now!!!! I am going to spread the word about this to everyone I know to boycott TMZ and AOL - You idiots!!!!!

48. As a registered professional nurse and mother of a child with severe peanut allergies, I am outraged by this post and urge you to remove and to post an apology. This is dangerous and in poor taste. How irresponsible to suggest that a life threatening action taken might only sabotage this young woman's chance of winning a talent show. She has a severe peanut allergy. It could kill her. Is that what you are recommending? Who is responsible for this editorially?

50. This is outrageous. Food allergies can kill. Would you joke about using a loaded gun or arsenic? Peanuts can kill this woman as well as millions of others and food allergies should be treated much more seriously!

51. Liek most have said here....unless you know firsthand about how deadly these allergies are...you have no idea how un-funny this is. There are people who have died within minutes from the smallest trace of a food allergen like a nut.
My son has a nut allergy and believe me, you don't want to see your kid or anyone rushed in an ambulance with an anaphalyctic reaction....not funny at all!

53. I'm sure the family in Indiana that lost their 8 yr old son to a reaction from a peanut this past Feb. 8th would not find this very funny. How ignorant and insensitive for this to even be posted. I am telling everyone I know how I now feel about your site and show. I was a reader and viewer but I will not be one any longer. I pray that my child with food allergies never has to come across such ignorance as this.
