While she's at it, staying away from his '90s era mullet may be a good call too.

17. that song achy breaky is not even her dads song!!!! it was originally done by the MARCY BROTHERS and because of one word billy ray hit it big. they sang it as achy breaking heart. but i saw them live and they signed my shirt, they are way HOT!!!!!!!

18. Why do you keep calling Billy Ray Cyrus a one-hit wonder? He has had numerous country hits. Some Gave All comes to mind quickly, and Ready, Set, Don't Go is on the charts now. While there is no doubt Acky Breaky Heart was a monster novelty hit, this man has been all around the country charts for 15 years. He's not my cup of tea, but at least let's be factual when we are talking about people. Like him, don't like him, whatever floats your boat, but he definitely is NOT a one-hit wonder. Please stop referring to him as such.

She has her lovely mother on her arm there and kisses her goodbye before she has to leave, and she is, from all accurate accounts, VERY CLOSE to her father. She simply said here she is not going to record Achy Breaky Heart. How do you turn that into a feud with her father? Did you even WATCH the video before you opened your mouth and proved to the world that you are an idiot. And finally, to the TMZ people who wrote "Regarding the hospitalization, we're told O was admitted to the Thalians Mental Health Center last Sunday -- the same place Owen Wilson was at." The same place Owen Wilson was AT? Did ANYONE at TMZ take English in the 5th grade? Do you not have ONE person there who knows proper grammar? Isn't writing what you people do for a living? Hire an editor, idiots.

22. Seems to me that Miley & Billy Ray are working well together. Billy is keeping an eye on his daughter while letting her pursue her career. In that context I think it's great. The previous listing that had the pseudo fight over cell phones looked like they were having fun with the media.
I'm not a fan of them I just respect the fact that they don't seem to be as obnoxious as the average TMZ target. I kinda hope they have a long and successful career just to annoy the gossip mongers.

25. wow, i cant say i get all these people bashing on her. My girls (8 and 6) love her. She is as wholesome as they get, so what exactly is there to bad mouth her about. You guys will shoot off your mouths just to do it. Sounds like a lot of jelousy to me. I say, if they have someone worth looking up to when it comes to celebs, then shes as good as they get. Her music is all clean, and the show is entertaining even to me.
Jelousy is apretty pathetic thing.

27. Gosh people, takes a lot of balls to hate on a kid and the tweens that like her. Better to have my 10-year-old digging her than wearing all black, sitting in her room cutting her arm with an x-acto knife and listening to the Cure like all y'all did when you were 10. Not much indie, punk or emo cred, but probably healthier in the end. BTW, she looks really nice in this pic w/o all that crap on her face.
