33. I hope you guys didn’t waste an incredible amount of time digging up this super hot story. And here I thought Jason Castro was a decent person and true humanitarian. TMZ, I cannot thank you enough for this startling reveal. It’s high time the world knows how egotistical he really is. I mean, choosing to further your career in music by taking advantage of a once in a lifetime opportunity like American Idol. It’s just despicable. I’m sure the other times he’s volunteered to help those less fortunate was just for show. A young man has nothing else better to do with his time, right?

37. CHEAP SHOT TMZ - What a cheap shot you took at this kid ! What is TMZ doing for orphans in Honduras? I am a fan of TMZ but this punk question is personally hurtful and WAY out of line. This is a chance of a lifetime for Jason and you or anyone else would have made the same choice (Idol vs charity work). 39. Note that Jason's spring break plans had been to go on a mission trip, not just a college spring break trip to tparty at the beach. That says volumes about him and his priorities. He's been on mission trips before, and he will go again when he is able.

41. The guy had a chance to further his career, he should have definitely taken it. Once he has a lot of money and is famous he can go down to Honduras and help out as many kids as he wants to.
