You are delusional if you think the only way a person can be controlled is by legal means. Duh. People control other people all the time. That is a classic trait of an abuser. FYI, AN ACTUAL LEGITIMATE NEWS NETWORK ACTUALLY WENT THROUGH HIS CELL PHONE RECORDS AND CONFIRMED THE NUMBER WAS SAM'S. SAM BRAGGED TO HIM ABOUT HIS CONTROL OVER BRITNEY. I look at at this way. Britney was surely acting out, before she met Sam. She turned against her mother, because her mother agreed with Kevin that Britney should not be out doing "party drugs" and out clubbing every night when she had custody of two very small children at home. Most people would have the same point of view as of her mother. I mean, why even have children when you can't even get up with them because you were out clubbing all night? Britney, apparently thought that her mother was taking Kevin's side, but her mother was only expressing her own opinion.

Sam came along and saw this emotionally retarded chick with tons of dough, and immediately knew she was an easy mark. All he had to do was tell her what she wanted to hear. First, he reinforced the idea that her mother didn't care about her, and agreed with her that her mother was on Kevin's side, not hers. Then it was that her mother only wanted the money she could make on her; then he convinced her that her mother was sleeping with Kevin. Next, he went on to isolate Britney from her entire family and any real friends she may have had. He convinced her that he, Sam, was the ONLY person in the entire world who cared about her.

Who knows what role Sam played in the termination of her previous lawyers before Trope & Trope? Sam had a connection with Trope & Trope and "found" them for Britney. He also "found" Harold Grossman for her as a business manager. How much did Britney know about her own business dealings? Did she just trust her "best friend", Sam to handle all that business stuff for her?

Sorry that I almost wrote an entire novel here ... I got carried away!
