Brit to Sam -- Have a Bitchin' Spring

TMZ has learned Sam Lutfi has agreed to back off the Brit for another 30 days.

We've learned Lutfi and the conservators have avoided the court showdown tomorrow by agreeing to extend the restraining order against Lutfi for 30 days. Under the existing order, which expires tomorrow, Lutfi must stay 2 1/2 football fields away from the Britster and basically have no contact with her at all. The parties have agreed to extend that order.

The Commish will sign off on the extension at the hearing tomorrow.

Sources tell TMZ there was a meeting between Lutfi and the conservators last week. Lutfi had been locked and loaded to fight any extension -- so it appears something that happened during that meeting changed his mind.

We're told Lutfi believes the restraining order extension is a good thing for both him and Brit.

47. Sam Lufti's finances are just fine and will remain so. Sam has been offered millions by the tabloids for his story on Britney and he has he has flatly refused to even consider it. If Sam was hurting for money he would be singing like a bird!

52. You can bet that the reason that Scam isn't talking is because he knows he is digging himself in deeper as her is being investigated! just like a con man to mix lies with the truth! If scam was so good at what he did then why is Brit starting to show some improvement? And that is coming from a person who thinks she is one of the biggest idiot/losers around! 55. In the beginning I would have voted for Lutfi because I thought Britney should be able to make her own choices. He was a friend she choose to have and I didnt think it was right for the parents to make her stop seeing her friends. However, after the rumor of the drugging and how stable britney seems now, it makes me think that maybe the parents were right. Britney is acting way better and more normal since before, making me think the parents are trying to do whats best for her.

57. You have to admit that, in spite of all the bad talk about Sam, there hasn't been a big "tell-all" story from him about her. If he was really just out for the money he would have taken advantage of that opportunity already. I bet he's regretting he ever met her.
