Hardy House Fire Ruled "Undetermined"

TMZ just spoke to Captain Bruner of the Cameron Fire Department -- and he told us the Moore County Fire Department has ruled the cause of the fire that claimed wrestler Jeff Hardy's home as "undetermined."

Bruner said around 11:30 PM the blaze was "paged out as a wildfire" -- because the citizens that made the call only saw the fire through some woods. Three minutes later another call was made -- this time specifically naming the Hardy residence as the location of the fire.

When firemen arrived at the scene, Hardy's home was "fully engulfed." Because the home was "burnt so bad," the Moore County Fire officials investigating the blaze ruled it "undetermined."

Foul play on the part of Jeff Hardy is not being investigated -- because Jeff Hardy told Captain Bruner that he didn't have insurance on his home.

17. can i just say to the bunch of vultures, who are commenting on this article, jeff probably doesnt need to pull an insurance scam because in case it escaped your attetion, he is a wrestler for the wwe!!, also the dude as just lost his house he dosent really need you kind of people making comments and secondly as for he didn't have fire insurance probably means he paid for the house in full morons!!
i think he is a damn good wrestler and thats all that matters i really couldnt care what he gets up too in is personal life, dont get me wrong he i dont agree with him doing drugs and i think the wwe made the right decision in suspending him but he will still have my support as a wwe fan when he comes bk!!!

18. Let me tell you something.....

If your "cookie duster" groomer overheats in the bathroom you might burn your house down!

19. My Gosh! Where is the good ole down south American sympathy! Do you know anything about Jeff Hardy? He LOVED his dog like it was his child. Do you really think that having no insurance is what's in HIS MIND. today. Give him a damn break. If you have ever watched wrestling, he is the one that LOVED his fans and always came out and acknowledged them. He ALWAYS signed autographs and let you take pictures with him after the matches. I know, I have pictures to prove it because my son and daughter-in-law never miss a North Carolina match. So what if he did not have insurance, it is his money loss. And stop comparing him to Chris that went crazy after doing steroids. Jeff did not get in trouble for steroids and he needs to get off so much pain meds and other drugs but he can overcome that. I am surprised he is not paralyzed with all the crazy stunts he does FOR HIS FANS!!! I know he has a huge fan base but maybe they are too smart to answer to these mean and nasty comments. Well go ahead, cut me down cause I don't care what you say about me. Remember the Bible says, "He without sin, cast the first stone." You should be sending condolences instead of insults. I am praying for you and your girlfriend Jeff and your precious little dog! You do have fans that love you. DON'T FOTGET IT!!!

20. IMPORTANT

Just to shed some more light on this story for you, Jeff and his brother Matt DO live on the same plot of land, as do their father. The Hardy land is about 100 acres of good old North Carolina sticks. And basically, I don't know if TMZ is reporting correctly. Jeff' has a double wide trailer, but he doesn't live in it? Here's a picture of said trailer.

He has bought that trailer from his father, and used it to store recording equipment for his music, until he was forced to move it all to his brothers house, because of water leaking i believe.

But the place Jeff LIVED, not a double wide trailer. Here is a picture of Jeff's HOUSE

He had said he payed for it all in full, because he didn't want to be retired from wrestling, and have to pay off his house later down the line. Pretty sound logic i believe, even if not having fire insurance though might not have been.

YOU'RE STILL BREATHING JEFF. STAY STRONG

22. Smells like a "Jewish Fire" to me!!!

23. Maybe hes' one of those nutcases that runs through life with no insurance on or for anything...no life insurance, in that field?...hope to gosh he doesnt have a wife or kids or close relatives that are dependent upon him while he's alive...no car insurance? hope to god he doesnt run into you.

There are truly such goofs who choose, or learned from their parents that getting insurance is of no value because afterall what are the chances your house is really going to burn down, and look at all that money you saved?

Freaking penny wise pound ass foolish. God get this man a business manager

24. Bar-B-Que at Jeffs house, what goes with smoked dog, red or white wine?

Posted at 3:09PM on Mar 16th 2008 by FlBiker

25. He lived in a Mobile Home. In some places its not a requirement. Its an option. I feel really bad for Jeff. I hope he gets himself together here really soon. He's an excellent talent and it would be a shame to see him waste his life away on drugs. Im really sorry about the loss of his dog too. Get better Jeff, we are praying for you.

26. FIBiker......I hope your house catches fire with your pets in it, you idiot.

27. Also remember, folks. Jeff didn't live in a house. He lived in a double-wide.

Posted at 4:31PM on Mar 16th 2008 by Andy

28. Menza, that's still a 'trailer', its just a double-wide on a foundation. Like others have said, he lost a pet and everything he owns - Lets not rag him for living in a trailer or for not having insurance. What's done is done. Its very likely that this started out as a wild fire. NC has had a few this year, and with premanufactured homes, all it takes is one spark and the house can be fully engulfed in a matter of minutes.

29. Seems like things are going from bad to worse for Jeff. First he is suspended for 60 days for his second drug violation with the WWE; and now his uninsured doublewide burns to embers.\, and he loses his dog in the fire. You would think that with the money that he makes he would have had the common sense to insure. Well, maybe he was planning on building a house on the land. Either way it is not pleasant to see such a great Superstars downward spiral

30. Being a Hardy fan for as long as I have been I feel for Jeff and his girlfriend Beth in the loss of Jack their beloved Jack Russell mix being a dog lover myself and having lost a dog with/in the past yr I know their pain well and wish them both the best and my prayers go out to them on their losses..

Jeffs house was paid for, he bought it when he and Matt signed with the WWE many years ago.. He collected many unususal things that some were one of a kinds and he is also a artist and lost many of his art work, he also dabbles in sculptures and lost most of them as well, he also has a alternative band called Peroxy?gen that he is the lead singer in and most likely last material for this as well, but all this is water under the bridge and can somehow be replaced but Jack cannot..I can't believe he did not have insurance considering all the art work and things of that nature he had...
