Hardy House Fire Ruled "Undetermined"

TMZ just spoke to Captain Bruner of the Cameron Fire Department -- and he told us the Moore County Fire Department has ruled the cause of the fire that claimed wrestler Jeff Hardy's home as "undetermined."

Bruner said around 11:30 PM the blaze was "paged out as a wildfire" -- because the citizens that made the call only saw the fire through some woods. Three minutes later another call was made -- this time specifically naming the Hardy residence as the location of the fire.

When firemen arrived at the scene, Hardy's home was "fully engulfed." Because the home was "burnt so bad," the Moore County Fire officials investigating the blaze ruled it "undetermined."

Foul play on the part of Jeff Hardy is not being investigated -- because Jeff Hardy told Captain Bruner that he didn't have insurance on his home.

61. As I sit here and read through the comments, I see people who show no respect for others. Jeff has nothing to do with Benoit. I personally have met both of them, both are (were) great guys. Not once has Jeff walked away from a fan, without at least saying hi, he will actually take the time to get to know his fans, unlike most stars and other wrestlers as well. I am not saying that his drug use was ok and acceptable, but he is the down home guy like most people are from the area, he does take most of the stuff to deal with the pain he puts his body through, he doesnt do it to get stronger, or bigger, or to deal with hard times. With his house he lost his best friend, and all of art, which both were stuff that were dear to him. As far as insurance, I do see the point in having it, however, if it was my trailer (which are new between 30 to 70k) i wouldnt wast money on insurance, as far as values on the inside, the insurance probably wouldnt cover his art work which was what decorated his house, so why have it.

62. Jeff Hardy is not a schmuck. What lies beneath is that Vince does not always pay well. And there is the little matter that they get their pay deducted, just like the military, for infraction. They also have to pay for their own medical and stuff. So put that one in your hat and smoke it. The ones that invest and save their money, and become "superstars" and true superstars are the ones who make the money. But you have to figure that they have to pay to go to the show (gas, hotel, food, medical if they need it etc) So boys and girls, if anything, this teaches that you better know what you are doing. Jeff knows what he is doing. He just needs to his head back into the game. Anyhoo, My condolences on the loss of his pet.

63. I'm so sick and tired of you people lashing out at Jeff. Cut the man some slack! So what if he doesn't have insurance on his home? Maybe he didn't feel the need to have insurance on his home! Honestly, people let the man breathe.

65. #5 I don't know where you got it was a trailer and not a house. Matt Hardy even wrote in his myspace blog that it was a house. And as far as him lying about not having insurance....some people just don't have it if they don't need it. No one expects anything to happen and while it is common sense that ANYTHING can happen...some just never think it could happen to them. My thoughts and prayers are with Jeff and his girlfriend....losing his house and his dog was horrible. Matt Hardy even said in that blog that the 1st thing Jeff said was to grab the dog and when Matt told him it was too late, Jeff's was hysterical. You can't replace memories and such, but dogs become like family after a while.

What's funny is to suggest he was broke. Apparently some people don't know anything about the Hardy's.
