31. Okay...those fees are ridiculously high...yet it's not suprising at all that the lawyers think their time is worth that much.

32. I think it's terrible that Kevin can hire high priced lawyers and Britney has to pay for it. You can make whatever nasty comment you wish about her, but if it were your money you would not be happy about this either. I simply do not understand this law that insists the weallthier party must pay for the "loser's" lawyers. Oh sure, it's a law to protect the less fortunate from wealthly spouses who decide they don't want them any longer. They're entitled because they were married, why? If you marry up and it doesn't work out, guess what? Go back to normal life, what makes you think you are entitled anyway and why does the state agree. If it wasn't yours to begin with you shouldn't have any right to more of it now.

33. Perfect EXAMPLE of the MORONS which govern our JUSTICE SYSTEM. The Judge see it fit that a person whom has been deemed Unfit TO EVEN RUN HER OWN LIFE is now being forced to pay the BILL of the lawyer her EX husband got which he couldn't afford to begin with FEE'S . THAT IS JUST CRAZY. If they say she isnt responsible to control her own life that her father has taken over how is it the COURTS find her FIT enough to keep DISHING out MONEY making EVERYONE rich around her. THATS JUST MAKES NO DAMN SENSE..
bRITNEY'S LAWYERS ARE just sitting sround collecting money from her too and have done what any fool can do which is NOTHING and yet they also collect around half million for trying..What a laugh..Hey Briney i THINK YOUR BETTER OFF getting a frist year law student to help u out..YOU HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF WINNING

MVV: Actually I am not the only one to complain about this. Someone called "Kev" who asked what "disso" meant. Therefore, it would appear that I'm not the only one who doesn't understand the slang some people use here. Too, I am clueless as to what you meant when you enclosed in quotation marks the word "day."

37. Lawyers are legalized gangsters. They can bill whatever they want and there's no way to prove it.

The courts allow it because judges are lawyers, and they are all in cahoots together.

The laws don't change because politicians make the laws, and politicians are all - yep, you guessed it - LAWYERS!

41. Yeah, Britney got screwed royally, but she'll bounce back. Some people have it in them to always do so no matter how much stress or how many distractors get in the way. While it is sad that the poor girl was going through so much BS and being took advantage of by so many people concurrently, like many of us, she will have to do the best she can. Vultures don't wait until life is honky-dorie before they pounce. At least now she has people looking after her to prevent this sort of stuff from happening.

45. Brit was terribly irresponsible, but it doesn't mean that Trope & Trope aren't attempting to take advantage of her. Obviously the conservators will go through the bill with a fine tooth comb and confirm the bill is justified.
I don't care if she was being a complete flake she shouldn't be charged an inflated amount.
