Freshly flush with serious dough, Heather Mills has decided to spend some of that hard earned cash by hiring ediamay orewhay attorney Gloria Allred to rep her in the States.

In a statement to the media, Allred says she is "honored to represent Ms. Mills because she respects Ms. Mills' courage throughout her difficult and painful divorce."

Allred has repped others who didn't seem to need lawyers as well -- Scott Peterson's mistress Amber Frey and Britney Spears' former bodyguard. Oh yeah, and Michael Jackson once told her to go to hell.

47. No one knows exactly WHAT happened in that marriage. It IS TRUE that Heather was treated like murderer afterwards. So she and Paul didn't get along. SO WHAT ? Any idiot hating on Heather, have you ever broken up or divorced anyone ? You think you deserve the same treatment as the Heather ? Don't feel sorry for Paul. He's full of himself and very pompous, he never came to Heather's defense and they have a child together.....he's a TWIT.. He also ASKED HER TO MARRY HIM, he wasn't FORCED to. And of course she deserves a settlement. And yeah it was big, but it should have been MORE. Old fart Paul is worth a lot, and he legally married and then DUMPED Heather. So hell yes , she was his wife and mother to their daughter. She was not the hired help, he can't just fire her. 49. I remember seeing an interview Heather did with barbara Walter's I believe even before she was married to Paul, and in the interview Barbara mentioned Heather's bossiness of Paul. She said to Barbara that it is good for a man to be bossed. someone should find and air the interview. Heather did not seem like some controlled, passive woman that Paul is being abusive to at all.
Now, when she is going through the divorce, she makes it seem as though she has been abused and controlled by Paul. I see though her wicked deception, and I truly feel she is a pathological liar with no conscience. Something is very psychologically wrong with that woman, and I mean this with the utmost seriousness. Her tears are part of her pathological behavior..do not be fooled. Find the interview with Barbara Walters years ago.

51. I'm going to look at this in a positive light. Gloria is smart. She doesn't give a rip about Heather. She knows that she's coming into some easy money. Gloria would be stupid not to take Heather as a client. Maybe her goal is to really "stiff" Heather with an astronomic fee. Glora ain't stupid....Gloria's going to take a CHUNK out of the cash cow.

55. Gloria can't be over-excited about representing this broad. She already has a history of firing lawyers, lying, erratic bahavior, etc. Allred is asking for trouble. It's funny that there are very few good female role models in the news anymore. It is just a constant parade of worthless, self-centered, lying, trash. They got famous because grandpa started a hotel chain, dad was a singer, they made a sex tape with Tommy Lee...etc. I would love to see a self made woman with character and class in the news sometime.

56. Has anyone read the British Judge's decision on their divorce. In page after page the Judge commented about how strong willed Heather is, how she exaggerated her assets in many instances, and it also stated how Heather did not want the settlement made public. It's there for all to see.
Believe me, hiring Gloria isn't going to make the populace on either side of the "pond" like her any more than they already do.
