Miley Disses "American Idol"

31. Miley Cyrus can sing just as good as half of the artists on the current pop charts. Whether you like them or not is a matter of personal taste. I don't like country music but that doesn't mean that country music singers are bad. I just choose not to listen to them. No harm, no foul. As for American Idol, I have NEVER seen the show. From the begining I was against the idea that we need to create more singing idols. There seem to be plenty of them available to fill the pages of gossip rags and web sites. Frankly there are much worse things in the world than Miley Cyrus. More mountain building out of mole-hills. Mellow out people. It's not like they elected her to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

36. did you guys seriously watch the video. she did not have an attitude at all. She simply stated that she does not watch American Idol cause she doesn't have time to. How is that dissing American Idol. I don't even watch American Idol. I only know of one person on the show as of right now and thats David Archuletta or however you spell his name. I haven't even heard him sing. Shes a busy kid trying to record her new album and she doesn't have time to watch American Idol. All of you people saying she was giving to much attitude, well you really need to get a life. She was not being snotty at all. If anything she was being real nice. Gosh you people would bash her if she even said she watched the show and liked it, then she would by lying. Give the girl a break.

38. The previous posts are saying that Miley is snobby and stuck up, but after watching this clip, I don't see how thats true. She's a young girl, in the limelight, just trying to do what she does.She even responded sweetly to those filming her. Nothing she said constitutes snobbiness that I saw...shoot _ I don't have time to watch much IDOL myself, so what? And I'll bet she's a hell of alor busier than I am.

41. I wish people would leave Miley alone. She is a good Christian girl with good morals and values. Her parents are teaching her well and I think everyone should learn from their example. Just because she doesn't watch AI doesn't mean she is being disrespectful. Some of you people need to grow up.

42. I think that everyone who did not hear the actual comment being said should not judge this unless they hear both sides. I stumbled upon this, and heard that she said one thing, and then another. And my opinion is that she is great, I got 5 kids, and they all love her. If she said it, yeah, it is a shame, because not everyone who deserves to be a star has a parent that is already in the industry, so it is like a slap in the face for those who actually have to go out and become an "idol" to make a name for themselves. I am not knocking her having connections, because those who judge her for that are only jealous. Most of the people who judge and criticize american idol, don't even give it a chance. I watched all but the first season, I am hooked, I don't know, I guess I am just one of those people who think that you should not judge a book by its cover, and the same should apply to miley and or american idol. They both rock. People need to stop taking celebrity's words out of context. You think that people would spend more time focusing on the 16 year old pregnant zoey 101 girl, that is where the good gossip is, lol.

45. Ok why's everyone all freaked out over this??? I'm not a big miley fan but they just asked her if she watched American Idol and she said "No I'm not realy and Idol person I don't have time." So THAT is dissing american idol??? And she was super nice most celebs just ignore people lol/
