Neverland Animals Deserted in Desert

Jacko may have saved his beloved playland from being auctioned off, but he couldn't save the animals. Poor Bubbles!

All of Jacko's pets, including giraffes, giant pythons, parrots and a menagerie of other species, were purchased by Banjoko Nature Preserve in Arizona. The creatures are intended to be "presented center-stage at a 185 acre planned multi-million dollar wildlife preserve."

Yeah, a zoo in the desert. Ironically, the pets look happier than ever.

18. Wow, TMZ is overflowing with sheer ignorance, y'all are a bunch of straight-up idiots!! Michael Jackson's animals were treated like absolute royalty at his place the entire time they were there. PETA DID get involved based on a NATIONAL ENQUIRER report that the animals were being abused, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture along with other official agencies DID follow-up and investigate the animals at Neverland in January 2006 based on PETAs constant whining. The USDA concluded positively that the animals were VERY WELL cared for, and were in EXCELLENT health. Tippi Hedren's husband was the longtime caretaker of the animals and stated countless times that they were always treated like kings, and they were given the very best care at Neverland. Tippi Hedren now has two of Michael's tigers in her sancuary, and said they arrived in perfect health and are just wonderful. Stop making such fools of yourselves, the animals were better off at Neverland than they could ever hope to be at any public zoo.

22. There's a great place near Tuscon that has wild animals all over. The Desert Museum, I think? I bet these animals will be cared for much better than they were the last few years under Jackson's estate.

23. Nat....

I frankly don't think all that Many people REALLY have that much of an issue with Woody Allen. At least he knows what Gender to relate to.
Why do you impose these archaic Victorian, Anglo/Saxon standards that are so absolutely diametrically opposed to your Afro Centric Principles? It's a Contradiction and Dichotomy as well as Hypocrisy. I don't believe you really even like Mickey the Freak that much...I think he's just convenient for you?
You seem hung up on this age issue when you don't understand the difference between a loving Romance that leads to Proper marriage that remains intact to this day and a perverse and destructive Molestation of PREpubescent and UNWITTING VICTIMS of the same gender. The days of the Statutory Rape laws and that mentality of violating the Human Rights of people and their Right to Privacy and "Somatic Sovereignty" and all that BS is slowly passing from the Anglo world in Harmony with the rest of the world...Good Riddance!
You are doing yourself and your caused more harm than good whether you realize it or not....

24. Not all of Arizona is a desert! Northern Arizona actually has Pine Forest and gets snow. And a wildlife preserve isn't a zoo. There are wildlife preserves in Arizona w/ elephants on them that have hundreds of acres of land to roam. Besides, I don't think animals from AFRICA would have too much trouble surviving in Arizona.

25. Actually, the reserve is in Page, which is about as far north in AZ as you can get. Actually gets cold up there, folks... believe it or not, not all of AZ is barren and deserted! It's just south of Utah and on the Colorado River and Lake Powell. You should take a vacation there sometime!

26. Let the animals go free and lock Michael's ass up in the cages.

27. Why wouldn't the animals look happier than ever? They were probably concerned Wacko would switch from children to animals.

28. az_grrl, you are so right. We have desert & we have North which is beautiful!! For those that do not know about AZ, you can sweat your ass off while water skiing & go snowboarding & ski in the mountains during the winter. Yes, we do have winter, you just have to drive a couple hours (if you live in the Valley)to enjoy it if that is your "thing". We would like for those of you that haven't experienced AZ to visit but.........we don't have much vacancy left.
