Shia LaBeouf -- Wanted Man!

Shia LaBeoufWe've learned a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Shia LaBeouf.

LaBeouf received a ticket February 18 in Burbank for unlawful smoking, a misdemeanor. He was supposed to appear in court at 8:30 AM, but neither he nor a lawyer showed -- so a $1,000 bench warrant was issued for Shia's arrest.

Shia was allegedly smoking on the sidewalk outside a shop called Skyblupink, a gift shop, when cops cited him.

We're waiting to hear back from Shia's rep.

32. Why would he or his attorney bother to show up in court? That's for us regular people. Celebs dont have to play by the same rules we do. You should know that.

36. I can't believe some cop took time out of his day to write a ticket for something so trivial.

The LaBeouf should be able to smoke anywhere he damn well pleases.

37. Are you kidding #32?!?! He's smoking a friggin' cigarette. That is NOT on the road to "Brad Renfro." Sure it's not healthy, but in no way does it equate to an illegal substance that effs up your mind. It's a cigarette people, get over it.

39. WTF does Brad Renfro have to do with anything? Puhleez, it's cigarrette, not crack or heroin! What a totally lame waste of our judicial system's time.

42. He was smoking in an area where it is not legal. He was cited for it, not arrested. The bench warrant was for not showing on his court date for the citation. He is not being arrested for smoking, but for contempt of court.

43. #21 A fat person stuffing their face is hurting the health of no one else. Second hand smoke does kill. That was a ridiculous analogy! There is no second hand ingestion of cheeseburgers!
