Is Amy Winehouse really suffering from impetigo? We talked to several board-certified dermatologists for the lowdown.
One doctor said Winehouse might be suffering from MRSA, a dangerous staph bacteria that's resistant to antibiotics.
Another doctor said the problem in figuring it out from the picture is that Amy has so much makeup on, it's hard to see the exact nature of the skin condition.
And still another doc said he didn't think the condition is caused from drug use (not that Amy uses drugs), because the lesions were not oval-shaped, which is a marker. But the plot thickens ... yet another doc said if she picked at the sores, that could change their shape. Dinner, anyone?
BTW, one of the docs -- famed Bev Hills skin doc Arnie Klein -- said, "Amy Winehouse should not be coming into close contact with other people while she has open sores." You'd have to be crazy to do that. Then again, Amy's friends are ...

I think her face looks like that of someone who does crack. I live in a neighborhood where there use to be a lot of hookers who used crack and her face looks a lot like theirs.
This just shows how unhealthy she is. Your skin usually has a fair number of bacteia/fungus but your immunes system keeps things at bay. She must be terribly unhealthy.

I'm all for supporting addicts, as long as they want help. She obviously doesn't want help or doesn't have the support system to encourage her to straighten out. Until then, she's just counting down the days until her heart explodes. It's a sad reality.
I have a new diagnosis: Those marks on her face are from people touching her with 10 foot poles.
that's that crack or maybe her boyfriend beat her a$$ or maybe she was so high she hit her face when she fail off the stage lol lol???????????

It's always the super-talented that turn out druggy messes. Look at some of our greatest lady blues singers on the first half of last century. It's a shame but not a surprise.

Man she is a tweaker, it's from Meth! I have known several crackheads and this is the result. It's really sad that she's addicted. That is a hard habit to break. My prayers are with her and her family for inner strength, she's fighting a major addiction.
