Will Smith -- I Am (Not) Scientologist!

Will SmithWill Smith says just because he's a Friend of Tom doesn't mean he's a Scientologist ... not that there's anything wrong with that.

Smith tells Rush & Molloy, "You don't have to be Jewish to be a friend of Steven Spielberg. You don't have to be a Muslim to be a friend of Muhammad Ali. And you don't have to be a Scientologist to be a friend of Tom Cruise." So what is Smith, anyway? "I am a Christian. I am a student of all religions."

Will made the public pronouncement to refute allegations in a recent Radar magazine story that he and wife Jada Pinkett, along with Kimora Lee Simmons, have been recruited into the LRH fold. TMZ spotted W & J slicing steak at Cut last week with T & K, which only fed the rumors.

32. Actually, Will and Jada were going to the City of Refuge church, which is pentecostal. However, Jada attends more frequent than Will. Also, they are good friends with the pastor, Bishop Noel Jones. The church is located in Gardena, Ca.

33. There is a website that lists scientologists and the training courses they have taken and there is listed a "William Smith". According to IMDB his first name is Willard. Not sure if it is him but this site also had Tom Cruise in it’s database.

http://www.truthaboutscientology.com/stats/by-name/w/william-smith.html

Notice that it lists his full name as "William C. Smith" and according to the Internet movie database Will Smith's middle name is Christopher. Coincidence?

34. Well if we are judged by the company we keep....Jesus had a long list characters called Apostles that walked with him...If you don't have friends that are of different races, religions, culturals and gender you are in a sad loney box and missing out on so much in life. This is how you learn to respect the differences.... I truly feel sorry for you because you truly haven't lived.

35. @ 34, dude, Will Smith was born in 1968, you're tellin me that he started with the church at 12, that makes no sense at all.

36. When Will stops donating his money to scientology and stops homeschooling his kids using scieno study tech, then he can say he is not a scieno. He might not be a card caring member, but he's getting there.

37.
Sorry to all the Will "I am not a $cientologist' Smith fans.
But there is no way on earth a non $cientologist would go near, let alone introduce to small children,
the incoherent ramblings of the con artist who founded $cientology.
Have you read any of this garbage??

Didn't you hear Tom on his insane video?
Either you're in or you're out.
And Will is in.
$cientology absolutely discourages their members from associating with anyone who doesn't support them and their cause.
It's part of their creed, their fundamentals of running their amway-like money machine.
It's how they keep the believers believing.

Will has been removed from the nitty gritty of life for too long.
People who subscribe to $cientology are only furthering the cause of the pockets of the men that run it.

RELIGION is not what $cientology is.
It is run like a business - not a faith.
There is NO god in $cience fiction religion.

IT IS A CULT AND A CON.

BOYCOTT THE CELEBRITIES WHO SUPPORT THE CULT.
YOUR MONEY GOES TO THIS CULT THROUGH DONATIONS.
DON"T SUPPORT A CULT.

38. He starts what is basically a scientology school. Had scientologist tutors for his kids until his school was ready but no he's not a scientologist, RIGHT!!!!

To be a friend of any period of time with Cruise (especially to get close) he requires you at least take a few scientology courses and if you don't stick with it he wont stick with you.

Will is being silly getting mixed up in scientology. If only he saw what Hubbard really thought of blacks he'd be out of there in a minute (or the black community would start calling him an Uncle Tom).

Very disappointed in Will Smith. I thought he was smarter than that. Getting mixed up with a cult that has offed many of its no name, low level underlings (i.e. Sea Org, staff)
