damn...quick tour....having a husband in the navy, I have NEVER seen such a short deployment.....not real fair to those who have to do a REAL tour of duty...

I gather the good doctor doesn't believe a whole lot in sunscreen. No one is impervious to skin cancer. Hasn't this guy started a family yet? That's what he stated that he wanted. I would think it would be fairly EASY for a DOCTOR to find a good, maternal and family minded woman. The trick is that he has to want to.

Nothing but respect for him and his service to and for our country, but ignoring that fact I would have to say he's trying the "look at me! look at me!" attention. Kind of publicity whorish to me. If it were anyone else I would say the same thing; a la Matthew McConaughey. Just sayin'.

How do you know that SHE dumped HIM? Tessa was pretty, but I had little alarm bells going off regarding her sincerity, and suspected that she simply wanted to WIN the Bachelor as much or more than she actually cared about him. She manipulated him like a fiddle, IMHO. The girl he left behind (Bevin) seemed a good, playful and very sincere match. I had NO alarms with her; what you saw is what you got. She had been through a very rough time in the past, so was also appreciative of everything on top of it all. She was a little rougher diamond than Tessa, but I always thought her color was truer.
