If you watch any reality shows you know how heavily they are scripted and the more outreagous the higher the ratings. She knew what she was doing and how to work it. Exactly like her proposal to E to turn the tables on the media.

She was no ditzy blonde. (albiet dyed). She was a persona. Not book smart but definately street smart.

Why play/act drunk as your daughter is opening Christmas presents? Why play/act drunk laying on the front lawn when someone is coming to talk to you about signing paperwork regarding the house you're living in?

NASSAU, Bahamas — A Bahamas jury has determined that Anna Nicole Smith's son died from an accidental drug overdose.

The seven-member jury recommended no criminal charges.

The jury deliberated less than two hours before returning the verdict Monday. The inquest began in November to determine what killed 20-year-old Daniel Smith.

The son of the former Playboy playmate died in September 2006 after coming to the Bahamas to meet his new baby sister. His mother died early the next year.

An autopsy found that Daniel likely died from a combination of drugs, including methadone and antidepressants.

1825. Congratulations Sternies on your hollow victory in the Bahamas. OP sure dodged the bullet on this one. Did we expect more?

I say hollow victory, because only in the Bahama's would the judge refuse a juries request for transcripts. Only in the Bahamas would the court allow an "interested party" to sit at the attorneys table. Only in the Bahamas, would they selectively choose which statements to be read to the court, omitting Anna's as well as the nannies from being heard. Only in the Bahamas, a corrupt little place would they have allowed the inquest of a 20 year old American citizen who died 12 hours after arriving in there corrupt little country, to drag on for a year and a half, postponing until witnesses disappeared, conveniently. Only in the Bahamas would they let it go unquestioned WHERE Daniel got the methadone.

I frankly expected this verdict. Having watched events unfold since Daniels death, I would have been stupid not to. I hoped and prayed that justice would be served, but knew, from watching what happened to Natalie Holloway in Aruba, that this would be the end result. Money talks in places like the Bahamas and heaven knows OP sure has enough to spread around, now that Anna and Daniel are dead, and he is the sole owner of all Anna. I am sure that he breathed a sigh of relief when he left that court house. Of course he knew all along that he would walk, it couldn't have ended any other way. So on to the next phase.

Congrats again Sternies, you have won another battle, but the war is not over. Lets see what happens when this saga is moved to US soil. Lets see how a real government works. Lets see how a REAL country handles the wrong doings that have been perpetrated on two of its own. Don't count truth and justice out yet, the battle rages on.

If everything was above board, why care? If the drugs were for legitimate purposes, there would be no need to use fake names . There would be no need to run afoul of the law. Tx, Kitty. I enjoy reading posts that present fact and logical debate. Pity the results of today. Stern needs to be hammered on those lies he has spun. The nannies were illegal to the Bahamas. They were afraid of deportation. I wonder if their fears were met by Stern or as*sociates. Are the Gibson's still throwing their weight about the island?

1828. Well Howard and Dr E, I find their actions suspect. He's the supposed father, companion and LAWYER....she's a PSYCHIATRIST. Neither the LAWYER nor the PSYCHIATRIST called 911 when she had a 105 degree fever. The PSYCHIATRIST prescribed ALL the meds....EIGHT in the LAWYER'S name. (Not to mention the DRUGS she took while pregnant). The LAWYER then LIED on the stand in COURT and played DUMB as to the meds that the mother of his supposed daughter was taking for years, claiming he wasn't a doctor. TWELVE YEARS and he doesn't know about the drugs she took and he knows nothing about Daniel either? Come on!

He isn't an uneducated person....he's trying to cover his ass by playing the poor little enabler that didn't know any better and was trying to protect Anna and Daniel. He deflects all the attention off himself and turns it on people that were not there and even worse, gets others to do his dirty work and they come out looking like the bad guy. Everyone is wrong but Howard.
Not buying what he's trying to sell.

As for Tas, she was only there to be with her husband who asked her if she could just sit there while Anna was sleeping...in case she needed assistance going to the bathroom. Why would she take a peek at her? Kinda creepy.

Stern got by with the first of two deaths. If he is let out of ALL responsibility, then I would imagine the gloating goat willl strike again. He needs to be stopped. Bring on ALL the lawsuits and stop this fool.

I don't understand the nannies not showing up either---they could have brought their proof that they were paid to lie about Stern .......and it would have blown FS and GBT out of the water....interesting that they didn't do that and the testimony of those two men stands.

I don't understand the point in a jury if they are not given all options in deciding a verdict--why not just let the magistrate decide.
