No Homicide in Death of Anna Nicole's Son

Big news in the Daniel Smith inquest -- the magistrate in the case will not be giving the jury the option to rule his death a homicide.

In a Bahamian court today, the parties discussed four possible options as the cause of death -- accident, "misadventure," non-dependent drug use and an "open verdict."

We're told the magistrate will instruct the jury on those options on March 31.

No one, including Virgie Arthur's lawyer, suggested that homicide was an option.

As for the options, "misadventure" is defined as "a hazardous course of action which ended fatally." An open verdict means the jury can't decide the specific cause of death.

You sound so angry. Don't take it out on me, take it up with her lawyer. Accept it or just keep spinning. The judge is going to write a report and on March 31 , this case will be shut. It is normal reaction to want to blame someone when a person dies, but murder did not happen here and the FACTS support that. You might not agree with it and that is ok but it is the fact and it is time to let this young man rest in peace. He does deserve that. Let your voice go to a good cause and help get laws change considering prescription drugs and how easy they are to get. Laws need to change so we don't have more deaths such as this. It is a huge problem in our society. Take your anger out on the laws not me. I did not write the laws.

By the way, Wayne Munroe was there TODAY but he was NOT THERE TUESDAY. The very most important day. Could it be that he did not want to be present when Howard perjured himself?? Which he did!!!!

And what pray tell , did Virgie do to help her daughter? Why was it up to Howard who you say was nothing more than her lawyer? Calling her a drug addict and a murderer on tv certainly wasn't helping. HKS was the only one there for Anna and he still is. This news is no homocide, you can 't call Howard a murderer anymore because he is not. Even Virgie and her team have accepted it, it's time for you to do the same.
