What Made the Hoff Cry on Idol
David Hasselhoff got a lot of crap for crying on "American Idol" two seasons ago -- but yesterday he told TMZ why it happened, and it's not as cheesy as it looked.
Though maybe it was a little bit TMI.

19. IF THE MEDIA DECIDES THEY DON'T LIKE YOU THEY WILL DO EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO DESTROY YOU AND MAKE YOU SOUND AND LOOK FOOLISH. LOOK WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO DO TO TOM CRUISE DAILY BECAUSE THEY HATE ANY ONE WITH RELIGION.
