Woman Says Crazy Oprah Fans Injured Her

A woman has filed suit against Harpo and the "Oprah Winfrey Show" claiming crazazy fans were so excited about sitting in Oprah's audience they pushed her down the stairs, causing her to suffer serious injuries.

In court documents filed in Cook County, Illinois Circuit Court Wednesday, Orit Greenberg says she went to Harpo Studios in December 2006 to be an audience member for the "Oprah" show.

In her suit, Greenberg says that she, along with an "excess number of patrons," were gathered in a waiting room before the show. She says audience members were then told to enter the studio and sit "where they wanted," causing a stampede. She says was pushed down a flight of stairs as the rabid fans "rushed the gate" while pushing and shoving one another.

The suit alleges Harpo failed to properly control the crowd and was careless by allowing guests to seat themselves.

Greenberg says she has suffered "severe and permanent injuries" from the incident, and seeks more than $50,000 for medical care and other damages.

A rep for Harpo told us they do not comment on pending litigation.

62. Oprah ROCKS! She's just not gonna roll over and be manipulated. If the suit is valid and warranted, the judge will decide fairly. Nobody is gonna be screwed. Justice will prevail in the end. I love Oprah!

64. Everyone loves to sue. Why doesn't she sue the so-called stampede, if there was one? For some reason I don't see Oprah's audience stampeding in, maybe Jerry Springer’s audience.

65. Oprah wouldn't like it if her own ass was thrown down flights of stairs, knowing that, she should show her empathy towards the lady. Afterall, she should have hired more staffs to check in people so the mishaps won't happen again.

66. Oprah is a greedy racist. She supports Obama, so in essence she hates white people.

67. #67, Tracy..if that's true then all Obama supporters hate white people, and he almost won because all of the "racist" dig him---still can win, but who knows with this dirty deranged, world contolling, government.

69. Jessie is jealous. A lot of important people attend Trinity. Jessie should visit and he might learn more than just the sound bits seen on television.

71. MUST HAVE NOT BEEN TO SERIOUS OR PERMANANT, $50,000 WOULD NOT COVER A SERIOUS HOSPITAL STAY AND PHYSICAL THERAPY NOT INCLUDING THE TIME YOU MISSED FROM WORK AND FUTURE WORK ATTORNEY FEES AND COSTS PLUS EMOTIONAL STRESS.
PEOPLE WILL TRY TO SUE ANYONE THESE DAYS AND JUST SUEING FOR $50,000 THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY JUST LOOKING FOR A QUICK SETTLEMENT. LOOSER!!!

72. #60, takes one to know one. You're always calling someone a BLACK ASS... so TYPICAL of you... let me guess... WHITE?
Please dont do your kids like Obama's WHITE GRANDMA did him... mental, emotional abuse... that's not typical... that's SICK! She should be ashamed of herself. Best thing Obama did was married a black woman so he don't have to subject his kids to such abuse. Let's face it... STERO-TYPICAL/RACISM is alive and well on both sides.

Oprah & Obama are high powered black people who have made history, plain and simple. What I like most is they don't try to shake their history or forget it about it because of their success. They're not SHAMEFULLY BLACK...

See how God works!

73. I don't know if any of you remember, but some years ago rock concerts had general admission. I went to see Journey in Baton Rouge, LA. When the doors were opened and, it was first in gets the best seats ,it was like a stampede. I saw people knocked down andt trampled. I was pushed up against a door and ended up with bruises on my face. Had there been assigned seats this would not have happened. I've been to many concerts and as long as people know where they sit before hand there is no need to rush. Some years back there were some killed at a concert that was general admission. In my opinion the venue should not allow this, nor should Oprah's show. It's only asking for someone to get hurt. This woman should get some conpensation. 50,000 is a bit extreme, but she does need some compensation. And, before this goes any further, I'm not one to sue others.
