Simon Cowell was completely surrounded by paps and fans outside the Ivy yesterday -- and they didn't hold back with the awkward questions.
Photogs shouted questions about Seacrest's sexuality, Paula's kissability and his own chest hair. Despite the papstorm, Simon made a point to bring up Seal's "freak out" at TMZ's photog earlier this week -- calling it "very funny."

9. I think that Seacrest should come out of the closet for so many youth that are targeted over their sexuality. If *stars* would come out and say it there wouldn't be the stigma of being *different*. Same with Clay Akins. I wish they would be true to themselves and the world then it wouldn't be a thing of such hatred others have for happening to love someone's spirit or same sex. I think it is neccesary for the well being of so many. Come out! If people don't like it so what!

10. Yes coolgirl, that is the show, Paula is not a drug addict and Simon is not a grouch. He is English and a super gentleman. He just calls it as he sees it.
