141. Reading all these comments made me realize no matter how much we try to stick together our roots and background will always be a problem to an inhumane individual. Emilio IS a great Tejano artist and always will be. I hope and pray that the good Lord stays with him, his family, and all individuals associated with his WORK OF ART through out this tough time. Only God knows what's next and we must always hope for the best and be prepared for the worst. Things happen for a reason may this not end as a tragedy, but a well learned lesson in how to be there for each other in time of need. May God be with us all.

142. Emilio had just played at Hallabaloo in South Houston. On his way home to San Antonio he had his accident in the City of Bellaire . Emilio is TEJANO not HISPANIC. You people need to know the difference and have your facts straight before speaking. The word HISPANIC is a label Nixon gave ALL spanish speaking people. I am not Mexican, Spaniard, Salvadoreana, Purto Rican or all these other spanish speaking nationalities. I AM AMERICAN DAMNIT and I speak TWO LANGUAGES ENGLISH AND SPANISH I was born in American. 300 years ago my ancestors came with the conquistadores and settled Tejas now known as TEXAS. May the Lord almighty hear all our prayers and bring him to full recovery to show his power and mercy. To those who are feeling hate and negative feelings and who sadly have the courage to post them, please take the time to reflect on how fragil our life is and that in one instant it can be taken away. 144. I love Emilio and was devastated when I heard the news. I saw him 2 years ago in San Antonio. My husband knows him and members of his band . When I met him I was like a school girl !! He was very nice and cordial. I pray for his speedy recovery and for strength for his family.

It's sad to read negative negative comments, specially at a time like this. Life is fragil and ANYONE can be be here one minute and not the next, therefore, for you out there who think that Hispanics are the worse, let me tell you that because of those Hispanics you underestimate so much this country is running. 146. I'm really sad to hear obout emilio and his band . I have been praying for him to get well. I have never met him but I got to talk to emilio on the phone when he was down here in corpus christi . And he was so sweet i wish i could have met him. all the people in south texas are praying for him. and i know that he is going to make . because emilio is a fighter and i have to at least meet him once please god bring emilio back to us. 150. Really people those of you who don't know this well tejano singer.. he's a human being like anyone of us.. I just can't beleive how cold hearted some of you can be.. Please if you're not going to be nice don't waist your time leaving insignificant remarks about him... He is struggling with his life.. and all we want is for him to survive and be well. Like someone said in a comment, he's a father, a brother, a husband, a son, .. This family is hurting right now... if it were one of your family members you would not like people to leave insignificant hurting comments like some of you have...
