198. Emilio has been a major part of Tejano and Tex-Mex music. He has been in several English speaking Ford spots for tv.. the voice of G. W. Bush when he was running for office in texas He has also realeased two english albums and his county album was named after his Miller Lite Sponsorship and english tv spots "Life is Good" Any one person who is hurt in an accident we should all hope they get better. As a radio dj for south texas i have had the chance to hang out with Emilio several times... What a great person and we all hope he gets well soon.

201. Emilio appeared in Califas at the Orange County fair Costa Mesa a few times. Very entertaining. Texmex sound to me as a Chicano is more appealing than Norteno. Ive never heard little joe or emilio sing about drug deals . Emilio will live again to speak about his experience and lessons learned.

It does not matter if he is popular or not, hispanic or not, rich or poor, grammy winner or not,
It matters that he is a human being who has family especially children and for everyone close to him, I wish him well and to the family I say Hold On to the great memories. He will be fine and With Faith and Love, God does bring miracles to our lives.
If we ignore the haters and ignorants, they will eventually stay out of here.

204. He was a big crossover country music star (English) in the mid 1990's. Thta's how I came to be a fan. His song "I's not the end of the world, but it's a damn good start" is a classic.

205. This is to all the people who don't have a heart. No matter what race he is, what he has done, whether he had a license or not, where he had alcohol or not....WE'RE NOT ALL PERFECT!! Under God's eyes we're all his children and we're all brothers and sisters. The ones who are saying " oh well thats what he deserves" i'm sure that you all once have done wrong. Everyone gets tempted. And if you just simply don't care then there is a God and when the day comes that this corrupt world will end you will scream mercy because you will go to hell. And that day is soon to come.... any day now. Also put yourself in he family's position IF HE was your DAD SON FRIEND BROTHER etc you know you would be devastated right now. So show respect and don't be another idiot typing away on how you wish he would die already. Who cares if he is hispanic, if he sings tejano, if you dont know him...... Just remember under God's eyes we're all equal he is our brother because we're children of God. I pray to God that he gets well and gives his family the strength to be able to pull through with him. Its just as tough to the family as it is for him to fight for his life. I have gone through a similar situation with my own father and it was very hard. With everything that was going on, my mother and I almost ended up in the hospital. It was 3 sad months of hope that he would get better but at the end there was nothing else to do. So everyone pray for both him and his family they both need the strength. When your in a situation like that you dont know what to think, feel, or do.

206. Emilio is a Tejano King. The tejano community would not be the same without him. Next to SELENA he had alot to do with brining us excellent tejano music. I have had the privelage of being able to see him at the HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW AND RODEO and it was amazing. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family, IT would be a GREAT loss if he didnt pull threw. Houstonians are sending their best wishes in hope for a speedy recovery. We CAN NOT loose our TEJANO KING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best wishes Emilio y Grupo Rio you are and always will be one of the BEST!
