Meanwhile, the U.S. death toll in Iraq reached 4000 on Sunday.
Again Kong...It will be interesting to see what my granchildren read in the history books about that election. I have voted in many elections and it is the first time I felt that something was askew. We shall see what the historians say.
Debbie/grandmother: Hopefully what your grandchildren read in the history books will be the undeniable facts, and not a liberal myth that has been perpetuated since 2000. As far as our voting system goes, I always suspect that something is askew. In this age of high-tech electronics, most of our states have systems that are antiquated and easily corrupted.
Bush backbone...I would have supported Bush completely had he stayed the course after 9/11 and continued to look for Bin Laden in Afghanistan. We had the world behind us. I am a victim a terrorism. This man lost a tremendous opportunity and instead diverted all of of our resources to a country that had nothing to do with the attack on 9/11. 4.000 dead wonderful soldiers later...
Kong...Yes, we can agree. My dad was a diplomat and while living in a foreign country we were victims of terrorism when I was a kid. We still have a wonderful system and with what ocurred in 2000 we must learn how to make our electoral system better.
Debbie/grandmother: As a veteran myself, I feel the loss of American lives to be heartbreaking...but the 4000 soldiers lost is miniscule compared to the numbers murdered by Saddam Hussein in his regime's many death chambers. I don't pretend to have any answers, and I don't support all of the actions by the Bush administration...but I will always believe that my country is a good and caring nation with a conscience. We aren't always right, but at least we have the tenacity to address evil when others simply turn away.
Kong...Yes, I agree with you. I don't have all the answers either. Thank you for serving. You are a hero, dear man. Both of my parents and my husband served too.
Sony...although I disagree with you about the beginning of your statement. There are many who love this country...even those who disagree with you and me. My dad was part of the Normandy invasion onto Omaha Beach on DDay. Do you think he wanted to be there? Heck no! My mom was in New Guinea as an Army nurse in WW2. Do you think she wanted to be there? No she didn't. She wanted to be with the love of her life who was crawling on that beach in France. Those who wear that uniform are on call for us 24/7 to protect us from foreign enemies. I agree with you that 9/11 had nothing to do with the invasion of Iraq. And so what is the answer. I don't know. One thing I do know is that those who have fought in battle are heroes. You might not agree with me and that is okay. I lived thru the Vietnam war and don't want to see our country become divided like it was back then. It was a horrendous time.
The Easter Egg Roll has been held every year since 1858, no matter what other issues the President has been dealing with at the time. President Bush justifiably continued the tradition today.
Instead of fondling the Easter Bunny why isn't he trying to lower interest rates and fees on credit card companies and enforcing the banks to pass on the low interest rates they are currently enjoying. Oh I forgot he made the laws to screw the American consumer for his special interest and wipe out middle America. Good job for bankrupting the country Bush!
Too bad Bush doesn't get on a "roll" and start cleaning up this mess he's leaving all of us. Is it true he just bought 20,000 acres in Argentina? Just wondering if anyone else knows or read about it?
The death toll gets up to 4000 and Bush is playing with he's Bunny.

All of you that are criticizing our President for having an Easter egg hunt for our children, I ask you this. What did you and your families do for Easter? Did you tell your little ones they couldn't have Easter this year because GWB put us in a war? The President, no matter which one it is , and notmatter what the world situation is, has always done something for the children for Easter.
And if you think times are bad now, I pity all of us if we get stuck with Hillary Rodham Clinton or Barack Hussein Obama.
My recommendation is: If you want socialism, freedom by freedom taken away and enjoy the 2x4 being rammed up your butt one splinter at a time, then vote Billery or Osamm. Be careful what you wish for. (jmo)
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
