Oprah Winfrey might be stumping hard-core for Barack Obama, but is it translating into big donations for the Democratic candidate from her pals?

FOX News says that it hasn't just yet, at least with certain people. Dr. Phil, for instance, hasn't handed over a penny to Obama, while her Scientolopals John Travolta, Tom Cruise, and Kirstie Alley have all stayed away from shelling out to the big O. FOX tries to make the case that Oprah herself, Stedman Graham, and Gayle King have been stingy with their $2,300 donations, but that's actually the federal limit for individual contributions.

Oprah's reps didn't have comment.


Fred Thompson Back to Playing Prez on TV

Failed GOP presidential hopeful Fred Thompson says he will be going back to his old day job, playing pols on TV. William Morris announced that they've signed big Fred to do TV and movie roles.

Before he tried to make it as an actual president (after being a real Senator from Tennessee), he spent years playing big-shot pols and most recently the District Attorney on "Law & Order." Of course, there's still buzz that could be cast in the role of Veep for John McCain.

16. I can't stand this woman - WWOD ... and whatever I think she'd do - I'd do the opposite. She is the biggest racist I can think of, she makes me sick. I'm all for someone being proud of who they are but if she did as much for the US as she does for Africa she might have something to talk about.

AND if she could do something nice without the TV cameras being there that might be a nice change too ! She certainly is high on herself ... look at me Winfrey

18. Lets not forget the Kennedys backing Obama. Hard to go with someone who has a bunch of fruitcases supporting him. (as if Hollywood was enough.)

That aside, he hasn't accomplished anything with his time in office, has no experience, and his wife isn't first lady material. [Seeing as she hates Whites anyway. :P Go read her thesis.]

19. Oprah is Racist. Pushing Black this, Black that on an Audience that is not a Black majority. I'm glad this Rev Wright stuff blew up. And now Obama is saying, "we have to dialouge about Race".

Ok my brother lets start talking...because the White Man has been shut up for 40+ years now thanks to the Civil Rights Act, Affirtimative Action and all the Social Welfare Programs the White Mans money could establish. And where has it gotten Black People?

some have moved on and ahead and they dont look back either on those that choose, yes choose to stay mired in a cesspool of poverty, crime and self absorptions. Where is the personal responsibility? You cant blame the White Man for holding the Poor Black back anymore...no, no, no...not when you get illegals who come here with nothing and make something of themselves. Poor Blacks want to stay just that way...Poor. The opportunites have been "set aside" for them yet they dont got to school, job training, or not have children out of wedlock.

21. Oprah changed my mind about her .. I will never watch her or trust her again and know now she is a biggot and a racist herself. Michelle Obama is a pig and wwa never proud of America she said last month, when years ago she said she's never feel good abotu whites. Barack Obama is a piece of garaage with his beautiful grandmother's gorgeous smile .. the whilte one who iIS TYPICAL AS HE SAYS WHITES ARE TYPICAL.. 24. I really did not know so many people are fed up with Oprah, I feel so glad to hear that. I am so tired of hearing how much she is worth this quarter. She would be no where if it was not for the people who thought she was a good hearted person when she first started. She has let her millions excuse me billions get in her way of being with the average person. I do hope only becAUSE I DO NOT feel Obama is right for the job that he does not win. I am not shure who to vote for but it will not be for him. He is kind of lile Oprah, he throws himself at the people like he is thr perfect one, well I do not think so. Thanks Mama C.
