If the blonde bimbo wants to help people , why not do it in the U.S.......millions of kids in the U.S. have hunger pangs everyday, let her start here in the U.S. Paris Hilton going to Africa is going to set back the intelligence and common sense of the U.S. decades. If she wants to help, have her daddy and mommy open up hotel rooms at any of the "Hilton" HOTELS, and help kids and the families. I agree with Conrad Hilton, cut them off !!!! ALL OF THEM.................... The Hilton's wouldn't survive in the real world. NO cavier, no paps, no silk sheets, night clubs and that all important after dinner drink. While the Hilton's are allowing the bimbo to surf the world, people are starving, and the Hilton's flaunt it................................

32. Believe it or not, I'm going to give Paris a pass on this one. She could easily have said "West African countries." I will not give her a pass on telling Newsweek Magazine during an interview this about about Rwanda: "I've heard it's really dangerous." And the bit about the candy bars. That was sheer stupidity, and George is right -- she does have the global awareness of a gnat.

37. Good Lord, can this woman be more ignorant? Seriously, it's embarrassing. When I read her original comment, I thought she was joking, then I remembered who we were talking about. What really, really bothers me is the fact that those of us who wanted higher education for ourselves and then for our children and couldn't afford to do it without a lot of hard work and borrowing, this woman has at her fingertips. And is this her idea of the good deeds she promised us while she was on "Larry King" after her incarceration? Yikes...

I agree with you about Hilton’s awareness. And thanks for explaining your post. I almost typed a correction response others did when they read your post (South Africa is a country). When Hilton was interviewed, she said she liked the countries, South Africa and West Africa, they were “great.”
