31. This kid annoys me more than any past or present AI contestant - I see him as a tantrum-throwing pity-hungry crybaby who really can't sing at all....it's gotta be me though, cuz there seem to be a lot of people who like him...I just don't get it.

How could you say bad things about someones mother dieing from cancer! This guy is so freakin humble and down to earth.... You crack heads don't know talent!

33. I think that he does have alot of talent. The music on his Myspace page, shows how talented he really is. As far as his crying, I've seen alot of emotional people kids on there. I mean, this is the BIGGEST thing that has happened to them in their life, being on Idol. He'll mature. Idol sensationalized his private life for their gain, for ratings. I'm happy for him.

35. I'm sure the whole Idol experience was overwhelming and yeah, he did come off a bit arrogant. Happens a lot with contestants who get a lot of praise early on in the auditions.

Personally, I think the kid has talent. Before you judge, go to YouTube, search for 'Josiah Leming' and watch a few of the videos he has up where he performs his own music. I think if he plays his 15 minutes right, he'll be huge.

If you had a chance to go from living in your lonely cramped car to a shot at be famous doing something that was your true passion, after having gotten all the way to Hollywood, being surrounded by new friends who were into the same thing you were, and then you were suddenly cut down with a no vote at the very last minute, wouldn't you burst out crying as well after you'd gotten that close? That had to be rough for someone so young, but anyone in that situation, at any age, under that kind of pressure, would have snapped. It's easy to criticize until you're in his situation (and who is?).

Also if only one company is offering to sign you, then you'd take that deal, wouldn't you?

And we all know better than to trust reality show editing. They shoot for high contrast, not for reality.

37. Coming from someone who knows Josiah he really doesn't cry that much at all but i know that everything is overwelming and that's why he has been so emotional. This kid has literally come from nothing and to have it be given to him now is so sudden and it's overwelmed him. His music is inspiring and comes from his heart. My friends and I always used to listen to him play in little coffee shops and to see him finally succeed is amazing. Give the guy some credit even if Warner Brothers isn't that great they wouldn't pick him up for nothing.

Too bad you are too jaded or ignorant to appreciate true musical genius!

39. Ya'll have NO clue what you're talking about!!! Josiah has pure, raw talent, and will make it VERY far thank you very much!! He is well beyond his years, and has immense passion for life and for music. As far as the "emotional" part of him is concerned...a great artist needs to be emotional, in order to create music that moves you. His music is a breath of fresh air. What's sad is that people believe only what they see on tv, even though most know that editing makes a person look so much different than what they are! It's not like he REALLY cries every single day....he is just a wonderful, humble young man.

40. Joey has signed with Warner, and he bought his dad a new truck and yes I know this is true because I am friends with his sister and his mom is doin better. He is wanting to take his mom to a special doctor who treats her type of cancer. Im glad he's doin great because he has worked so hard for all of it . If you read this Joey...Hi!
