Fawcett and O'Neal's Son Still Free ... for Now

Redmond O'Neal, the son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal, hasn't decided whether to plead guilty or not guilty to DUI and drug possession charges ... and he won't have to for about three weeks.

Redmond was in court today for his arraignment, which was rescheduled for mid-April. When TMZ spoke to him outside the courthouse he said his famous parents couldn't make it because they were "working."

His January arrest wasn't his first brush with the law -- Redmond was busted in 2005 for possession of cocaine and methamphetamine, and in 2007 his brother allegedly tied him to a staircase so he wouldn't leave his house to get more drugs.

8. Any intelligent life in these comments?

Poor kid, obviously in need of help. Despite Farrah's health problems, I am sure that neither of his parents were "so busy" that they could not attend their sons hearing. These Hollywood kids seem to have :
1. Too much time
2. Too much money
3. Not enough parental guidance.

Note to parents of these children: There is more to children then just providing them with life, there is teaching them what they should do with their life in order to become productive humans, well adjusted productive humans do not jepordize their or anyone else's life.

10. When the spelling errors are in the actual article (which they have now corrected) then I point them out. I mean they should proof read before posting...

11. It IS kinda funny when the spelling errors are in the headline, or article. These guys were hired to write. Good Spelling does not necessarily mean intelligence. Some very smart people can't really spell. They are better at Math or Science. Some mistakes are just funny. Also, lots of posters are in a hurry, or doing something else at the same time. I just like hearing all points of view.

12. Redmond is 23 years old. Certainly old enough to face the consequences for his actions. Given the family's problems over the years, it's no wonder he's in trouble with the law.He needs to be man enough to admit he's guilty (oh, I forgot-he's innocent until proven guilty in a court of law) accept his sentence, fine, probation and get the help he needs. The world is full of dysfunctional families, especially his. His parents can be supportive from a distance and maybe, just maybe he'll learn a lesson.

13. Redmond, the kid's name is Redmond? There is another O'Neal spawn named Griffin. Were these kids named while watching daytime soaps? What a family this is.
