Mrs. Mrs. Doubtfire Files For Divorce

Marsha Williams has flown the birdcage -- she's filed for divorce against hubby Robin Williams.
Read the docs
The papers, filed in San Francisco on March 21, cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The couple, who were married in 1989, got together after Marsha worked as a nanny for the actor and his first wife, Valerie.

The couple often worked together, founding Blue Wolf Productions. Marsha was a producer on "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Patch Adams." They also created the Windfall Foundation and worked with Doctors Without Borders.

They have two children -- Zelda and Cody.

Robin's rep confirms the split but offered no additional information.

63. You guys are so harsh regarding her looks. If the marriage lasted 19 years, then perhaps there was something more there than just lust. What a nice change from all of the other Hollywood marriages. Of course, when a beautiful woman married an average guy--nobody ever comments on that. Too bad for the kids and for both of them as well. Divorce is never easy on anybody involved. There's a great book by Debbie Ford called "Spiritual Divorce" that both should read.

64. I always thought Robin's first wife Valerie was better looking than Marsha even back when Robin first hooked up with Marsha. So, maybe Robin went in for more than the looks with Marsha. Still, I always felt sorry for Valerie and hoped she had a happy life after her divorce from Robin.

68. I was just shocked. I really feel bad for him. But on the other hand he never seemed to be home. He was always performing, riding his bike, and doing charity work. I always wondered does he ever have some family time. He never talked about his wife on the talk shows, just his kids. I think he cheated on his wife as well.

72. I dated him in the early 80's when he was cheating on then-wife, Valerie, and he lied and told me they were separated. Yeah separated...he lived in L.A. and she lived in Napa! Then he starts fooling around with his kid's nanny and marries her! Now they're divorcing...he's probably been cheating on her all along. A leopard doesn't change his spots. One thing for sure...he's not gay. But he did have B.O. and is hairy as an ape!! Good luck to the next one he cheats on...maybe she can spit out a kid or two while the gettin's good and then cash out, too!!

74. A lot of you people are terrible. Robin Williams has given much of his time and resources to charities for decades. As for "The Birdcage," both Robin and Nathan Lane were brilliant. Nathan Lane is gay -- Robin is not. Williams has gifted us with laughter for many years; he is a superb actor as well. His personal life is his business -- not ours.

75. I've never liked him. Too damned hairy and hyper. That said, she is a total dog. Lose the mole asap.
