63. i have been a fan since i was 8 years old. i always bragged how you never heard anything negative about this band, especially in the 80's when so much was going on in the rock world. i am very distraught over this, i hope richie gets help soon, i would hate to see this ruin his awesome career. he really needs to follow in jon's footsteps. i know there is an problem with alcohol but his judgement was way off, first off there are too many risks out there when driving drunk, especially with other drivers but to have passengers in the car too, come on now. that is so irresponsible.. and juveniles, what are you thinking??? the female adult in the car, what was she thinking letting hm drive let alone riding with him and allowing the juveniles to be in the vehicle.. people, you need to THINK!!!!! i hope richie gets the help he needs and soon, next time he may not be so fortunate not to have hurt himself or someone else.

65. This is proof that rehab doesn't just magically get you sober unless you actually believe you have a problem and want to quit and are willing to do some work yourself.

OMG!! whats with the poor ritchie comments?! does anyone get the fact that this guy drove with alcohol in his system with his little girrl??? who bloody well cares that hes done stints in rehab and there are jackasses that feel sorry for this piece of crap?! i loved bon jovi in the 80s but im not about to excuse him of this. he couldve killed his own child or someone elses. its time the california courts start throwin the book at these people.

70. Oh my God. This is ridiculous. I have been a HUGE fan of Bon Jovi since I was like two, and I have always admired Richie for his talent. But this here.. is UNACCEPTABLE!!! He has his 10-YEAR-OLD daughter in the truck along with another child, and another woman beside him- WHO WAS TOLD by Ms. Locklear (might I add) to drive home his daughter home. That woman could have easily taken the keys from him IF she wasn't drinking at the time, this is not yet known. This is the most dumbest thing that Richie could have done so far. YES he is human, and we ALL make mistakes, but if he knows that he has his daughter with him, he shouldn't drink and drive. I lost my cousin in a car accident due to a drunk driver, so him behind the wheel. even if he has a TRACE amount of alcohol in his system, is unacceptable and inexcusable. I feel sympathy for his daughter. You would think that going to rehab twice in one year might do the trick, but unfortunately, it didn't work for Richie. Richie- It's time that you get your act together and leave the alcohol behind. Drink when you are home, not out on the road. It's time that you start being a good role model for your daughter. I know you have been through a lot these past few years, but alcohol is NEVER the answer and just this act alone really ruins your image as well as the bands image to society alone. It's time to get your head out of your ass and go sober for a while. You are 59 years old, I think it's time for you to drop the bottle and fly straight. As a fan, you have my support, but you need to stop drinking for awhile and get your head straight.
