276. I think there should be a stronger punishment because it wasn't just himself that he put in jeapordy. He put the whole family in danger. I don't understand why all these celebrities and celbuspawn think it is okay to put everyone else in danger and then are given a slap on the wrists whereas a regular citizen get's time in jail or worse...........there should be no difference.

277. if he was over the limit, whatever that is in california, then he should be punished. it may not be much time but it may be enough; a little bit of time "in the slammer" seems to have worked for nicole richie and paris hilton. or maybe they just don't do the driving anymore! (which is a good thing.)

278. Richie surrounds himself with people who kiss his sorry behind, and his women are no exception. He went for the blood test so all these news reports wouldn't have "Sambora tested at 1.5" or whatever. He's hoping this will die down by the time his alcohol level is determined and it probably will to some extent, but it won't change the fact that he was drunk off his bum and should not have been behind the wheel, and of a Hummer no less (take it to Iraq where it could do some good, big man) with two child passengers.

279. i did a search of the term "legal limit " and saw that it was .08 for every state. for some reason, i thought each state set it's own limit. i guess it is true that you do learn something new every day. whatever happens to richie, i hope he gets help, if not for his own sake but for his daughter's and for the other family members and friends that care about him.
