UFC Brawler Wants TMZ as Punching Bag

One person you don't want to piss off is UFC fighter Rampage. Well, TMZ did.

Quinton Jackson said we took him too seriously when he said "Black folks, when you get in trouble [and you] call 911, please sound white when you call," referring to slain NFL player Sean Taylor back in November.

Take a look back at that tape -- was he just joking?

1. What a jerk. Needs to get a life for when UFC goes under.

2. He was not joking when he said "sound white when calling 911." He is upset because what he said brought him a lot of backlash. He needs to either stand by what he said and be responsible for it or just measure his words better. TMZ was the messenger but Quinton was the one sending the message and the message is that he is another person laying down the race card.

5. He is not a racist. Have hung out with him several occasions. He is a very outspoken funny guy.

And for the person that said the UFC is going to go under obviously has no clue on how much revenue they take in. UFC and the sport of MMA is going no where.

6. Well he's been married to a Japanese and a white woman, so I'd say he's an equal opportunity philanderer.

7. What he said was what he meant to say. That's what is wrong with the world to day. Nobody wants to take the blame for there mistakes or failures. Be a man and stand up for what your mouth dished out!

8. Hey, TBidness, as a matter of fact I do. But do YOU know how much goes out, and how close they are to losing their TV deals? I do.

9. He is racist, I can not stand him, The UFC should fire him for acting so stupid. I hope that Forest Griffin beats him like a pulp!!!!

10. Spike will never drop the UFC because everything else they have sucks. Although the new MMA orgs who have professionals leading their companies will take over in time.

11. Rampage is good guy with a great sense of humor. I know he sounded serious, but he is a big jokester, always has been.

12. Holy crap you guys are idiots. You can't take seriously 98% of the stuff that comes out Rampage's mouth. C'mon now!

13. He is not racist! To be racist, you have to believe that races are different from each other based on their unique genetics. Going with that, some races are inferior and, superior to each other and, because it's genetic, nothing can be done to improve their lot. Also, any insults, discrimination based on those beliefs would be racist.

SImple discrimination, stereotyping, insults , beliefs or fears than are racial in nature , but aren't based on anything more than
what you've been brought up with, or what you experience are not racist.

What Rampage said was a gut reaction to a tragedy and, while he was insulting 911 operators (presumably white) if you grilled him further, he was probably going on what he either experienced growing up, or what he heard about from other black people.

14. What Mr. Jackson said was understandable considering the information he was given. Obviously, the person giving him that info was TRYING to get this type of response. They gave the impression, by the tone of voice they used, that Sean Taylor died from a superficial wound. Perhaps had Mr. Jackson been told that Sean Taylor's right femoral artery was severed by the bullet AND he was airlifted to a hospital AND surgical intervention had been attempted AND he died the day AFTER the shooting, his response would have been different.
