Celebrity Justice
Heath's Will -- No Joke

TMZ has obtained a copy of the 2003 will of Heath Ledger. It leaves 50% to his sisters and the remainder to his parents.
Read the docs
The supporting docs list $145,000 in assets, though we've reported Heath had a lot more -- in the millions.

As previously reported, Heath's daughter, Matilda, was not mentioned in the original will. But we're told she'll be well taken care of.

Read it for yourself.

32. I don't understand how celebrities are so irresponsible after they have children to not update their will! Us regular folks make it a priority. Anna Nicole didn't either. You'd think w/all the lawyers, advisors & managers these people have someone would have them do it. Then it just becomes a great big mess for everyone & costs tons of $$ to straighten it out, when that $$ could've gone to their children instead. Just stupid & selfish!

33. WHEN A PERSON MAKES A WILL, THAT WILL SHOULD BE VALID! , HE KNEW HE HAD A DAUGHTER, & HE DID NOT CHANGE HIS WILL! THEREFOR, LEAVE HIS CHOICE ALONE! HE CHOOSE TOO LEAVE EVERYTHING TO HIS PARENTS, THEN EVERYTHING SHOULD GO TO HIS PARENTS! & IF MILLIONS ARE MISSING? MAYBE HE ALREADY GAVE MONEY TO THE MOTHER OF HIS CHILD! (CHECK HER BANK ACCOUNT). SO MANY PEOPLE CRY OVER SOMEONE ELSE'S MONEY, WELL SHE SHOULD WORK & SUPPORT HER CHILD HERSELF!, & WHO KNOWS, MAYBE HE DIDN'T ADD THE LITTLE GIRL FOR A REASON, MAYBE SHE IS NOT HIS DAUGHTER?

34. It's totally irrelevant whether Michelle is capable of taking care of the child financially, or not. What IS relevant is that a grandfather is trying to extort money from his granddaughter.

35. How many times have you posted this story? Heath wrote the will back before Matilda was even born. It's not that he left her out on purpose, it's just that he didn't think he'd die so young. Stop posting this story!

36. So you guys are all reading TMZ stories and posting comments because you don't have friends or family members of your own, right?

If you do, i bet that they are sad and neglected as all hell. You people are pathetic.

39. Michelle Williams should petition the court to declare Matilda Heath's sole heir and therefore, the only one who should inherit his estate. She could then given a small portion to his sisters and parents based on what she deems to be fair and reasonable. If Heath's estate is wroth several million, Michelle could give a million to each of his sisters and parents. The rest would then be put in trust for Matilda. The bottom line is it belongs to Matilda and no one else.

40. Let this be a lesson to baby mammas everywhere both Black and White. Make sure your baby's daddy updates his will once you give birth to his child. Especially, if he's rich.

41. Cheryl Soto:

There has been no indication that Michelle Williams is crying over Heath's money. And we all know that she can and will take care of her daughter herself with or without that money. It's the principle of the matter that everyone is concerned with -- a child should automatically get her father's money if he passes away. And as for the laughable comment about Matilda maybe not being Heath's daughter -- not only did he acknowledge her as his child when he was alive ( and dote on her, love her to bits, talk about her all the time, etc . . . . ) -- she looks just like him -- really -- take a look sometime.
