Oh Ma God! Remy Guilty on Four Counts

The verdict just came down in the Remy Ma trial, and the rapper has been convicted on four major charges -- two counts of first-degree assault, attempted coercion, and criminal possession of a weapon.

The charges stem from a 2007 incident in which Remy shot a friend of hers after a fight over $3,000 in cash stolen from Remy's purse. The defense tried to make the shooting an accident -- but it looks like they didn't quite convince the jury.

Remy was not found guilty of gang assault and witness tampering, among the nine total charges she faced. We're told the victim's friends and family taunted Remy when the verdicts were read -- full pandemonium in the courtroom.

Remy could face up from five to 25 years in prison at sentencing.

63. well she shot her over 3,000 dollar's i thought she wouldn't miss that much money cause it's nothing. what the heck. shoot a friend over some cash ain't she suppose to be a millionaire or something. maybe she was high on x. much love remy you making bad for a female mc such as myself. hope you learned your lesson. we were at a club inatlanta and got hit for some cash and didn't even realize it.
1.never carry that much cash
2.never tell nobody to hold your purse in no club

65. I don't think she's going to get 25 years...but this is N. Y. State and she'll get a substantial sentence for her actions before and after the shooting.
She shot her, searched her property...then left her there bleeding...Remember Jamal "Shyne" Barrow...He got 10 yrs for a club shooting...So being a Black Rapper isn't going to get her sentence reduced.
She's going to get jail time, how little is up to the Judge and as a Celebrity, she was big in local black market in most cities...but a lot of people don't even know her.

68. this gurl has proven to be another foxy brown. i don't care if she has kids or not. that will be a lesson for her son. she is lame and a wannab gangsta. Real gangstas would have man uped and faced the facts. she needs to be locked away for a while. as i watch her on tv and her lil interviews she is always negative, so don't try to clean yourself up towards your court case. she is broke and never sold any records and mad at all the other female rappers cuz she can't sale. we can all do without remy ma and dats real folk.

69. First off, Remy Ma should get a lot of time for shooting someone over a measly 2 grand, to me that says that she has no limits, and is very dangerous, and trash like that needs to be picked up off the streets and disposed of.

Second, all of you idiots who are blaming what Remy Ma did on rap music, well you should be slapped backwards and silly into a coma. Simply put, rap music didn’t make Remy do this, she did this on her own, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with hip hop!

3rd. Just like this isn’t about rap, nor is it about RACE, this is about a young lady who doesn’t have any boundaries in life, and needs to be controlled by either medication, or a jail cell, not what she does for a profession or her skin color.

4th, she does look like a reject in TWO WONG FOO, so yes, she could easily pass for a bisexual female version of a Wesley Snipes look-a-like.

And what the hell is a bisexual anyways?, you’re either gay or you’re not! wtf
