T.I. Pleads Guilty -- Going to the Slammer

Rapper T.I. has just plead guilty to federal weapons possession charges -- and will spend one year behind bars!

T.I., real name Clifford Harris, will begin his sentence after completing at least 1,000 hours of community service -- talking to kids about the dangers of drugs, gangs and guns.

The rapper plead guilty to possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of machine guns and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

17. This whole stupid notion of having "street credibility" is BS ! Work hard at your music and be focused on that. The kids and teens who listen and admire him need to learn you don't have to be shot or shoot at someone to prove your a tough guy. If you want protection cause your a celeb, hire a body guard like everyone else.

18. Sad when he was heading to the top of his game.Even after living in the hood and getting the chance to provide well for his children he still manages to let that ghetto mentality rule his life. Maybe when he gets out he can see that he can focus on his talent and leave these people alone who perpetuate bad behavior. This is the problem with black america but yet they always blame the unability to get ahead.This is what happens when given that chance.Hopefully his babymomma who was in one of those 90's girl groups will get her act together as well because rumor has it she likes to party.

19. #9- Gee, I can't imagine why people have such a horrible perception of people from the "da hood". Of course none of us on here have experienced the hood like you or the thug rappers have. If we had we'd be ignorant and crying victim all the time too. Please learn how to communicate better. I wasn't going to comment but this is has gotten funny...# 3 love it, that line is off Chappelle's Show, LOLOL! # 9 is trying too hard to sound "hard" and that's not even ebonics for whoever said that, that's just complete idiot-speak. #13 couldn't have said it any better...# 15 didn't hit me until you pointed it out... exactly teach the kids?!?!?
