Bachelor Screws Contestants: Defrauds Them Too

If bachelor from "The Bachelor" Matt Grant marries one of the chicks from the show, it may have nothing to do with love.

Turns out Matty boy -- a horny Brit -- recently met a cutie at a bar. Sadly, for him, it's someone who works for TMZ. He's been in touch with her on a pretty regular basis. A few days back, he told her he wanted to permanently move to the U.S. and his lawyer advised him, the best way to do it was to marry an American.

Warning to skanks on the show who want to marry him -- he's gonna let you down (let you down), and leave you flat.

167. Instead or roses...they could hand out Q-tips to swab their privates and get results in time for the next elimination.
Last one standing....wins a full check up...

168. Send that limey SOB back to where he came from.
We dont want him here.

169. Wow pretty bold of TMZ to post this, why didn't you guys did a "Cheater" version of the setup? It would be much more dramatic and definitely guarantees high ratings, especially if the winner of the show confronts Matty with his pants down!

170. Isn't the show already over. I'm sure it's taped and contracts are signed not to talk.
Don't waste your time watching this tripe.

172. why did he kick off amanda r?!?!

Posted at 2:27AM on Apr 29th 2008 by Amy

173. He kicked off Amanda because she is an immature, whiny, BORING example that being a good looking woman means NOTHING if she has no personality!! I loved how on the Women Tell All show the other night Amanda said "I didn't tell you I loved you because I wasn't at that point yet" and Matt told her in so many words "I didn;t love you nor did I ever see myself falling in love with you" shut her ass up REAL quick!!! It was great...

175. 50. 44. Why would anyone want to be an American.. not exactly the most respected country in the world these days.

Posted at 1:39PM on Mar 29th 2008 by BlueJayFlys

Perhaps not, and while imperfect, it's still better than anything any other country on the planet has to offer at this time. The day I see Americans climb into a rubber raft and take off in the ocean to escape from here is the day I'll start to worry. Since we "catch and release" people from other countries who do that exact thing on a daily basis, it's safe to say, respected or not, plenty of folks are still willing to die to get here. Besides, there are other countries in Europe that are cheaper to live in than Britain, so it's not like this guy doesn't have other choices. Don't come to an American site and talk trash about America, that's just so lame. (Yes, the internet is worldwide, but this site is based in America, run by an American)

Kizzy - either you're pig ignorant, have never travelled anywhere outside of your country, or both combined. America is a terrific country, but no more so than any other modern, first-world capitalist country and that includes Britain. Britain too has enormous issues with illegal immigrants, so perhaps if you opened our eyes beyond the self-obsessed medium that is CNN and the likes, you might realise your comments are entirely ridiculous to the point of being laughable.

Matt Grant is a successful merchant banker and global financier, based in London - which has a larger forex market than the rest of the world's major financial capitals put together. If he wanted to work in New York, Frankfurt or Singapore, all he would need would be a work visa; he certainly wouldn't need to marry some ignorant American bimbo who thinks London looks like a movie set.

Most laughable of all is that you think America is impervious to criticism simply because this is a US-based website. This degree of arrogance not only makes you unpopular as a nation, but also vulnerable. If you haven't figured that one out over the past few years, then God help you.
