Brangelina Wedding Rumors: Who Gives a S**t?

46. I come to this site, from time to time, for a good laugh. Usually I end up shaking my head. Who the H**l cares about these people and why do they make so much money, when they aren't good at what they do? Angelina seems to have a plan on the gender, number and birth place of her kids and that is all that matters. Not taking some time to 'bond' with each child. They just keep getting them at record speed.

Oh yeah, they both make a ton of money in the U.S. but why don't they want their kids to be born here?

49. Late Saturday, Star Magazine’s Web site ran an article that BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE had married earlier in the day in New Orleans. Suddenly, the Internet was ablaze with gossip bloggers anxious to report the news. But was it really Hollywood’s hottest couple saying “I do,” or just the wishful thinking of the press?

Within moments of the original posting, Brad’s publicist told ET’s 24/7 news squad, she had “no idea” about a weekend wedding nor did she have any information about wedding plans. Angelina’s rep did not offer a comment.

And, in spite of multiple blogs touting the wedding as fact, at this point, the celebrity wedding of the year looks to be more rumor than real. ET’s New Orleans affiliate, WDSU Channel 7, reported that they have seen no evidence of a wedding or that Brad and Angelina are even currently in the Big Easy. Photo agencies report that they haven’t spotted the pair in Louisiana in recent days — the Pitt-Jolie family has been encamped near Austin, Texas, over the past few weeks while Brad films TERRENCE MALICK’s ‘Tree of Life.’

Additionally, People magazine is reporting that a source close to the couple told them there was “no wedding.” According to OK! mag, a reverend who was said to have performed the ceremony told them, “I’ve never even met them.” And, The NY Daily News interviewed a shop owner in the neighborhood who said there was a hubbub over a wedding in New Orleans on Saturday — it just wasn’t Brad and Angelina’s.

“Rumors were flying all over the quarter today that Brad and Angelina were getting married. The cops closed the French market to the public,” he told the newspaper, continuing, “Catering trucks, florists and people with fancy chairs started showing up.” But in the end, it was a false alarm, he said, as the happy couple who walked down the aisle weren’t Brad and Angie.

Regardless of their marital status, the pair continues to display their commitment to each other through their ever-growing family. Brad and Angelina (who are already mom and dad to MADDOX, 6, PAX, 4, ZAHARA, 3, and SHILOH, almost 2) are expecting again — Angelina debuted a pregnant belly at last month’s Independent Spirit awards.

You're right. Marriage is not just a piece of paper. I hate to hear people say that. Marriage is a legal, moral, and usually religious institution and delcaration to society of two peoples desire to be commited for life. It's not for everyone, if you don't want to get married, then don't. But it definitely not just a piece of paper.

57. I saw this headline come up under the "Entertainment" section of "Google News" and I had to laugh. Isn't TMZ pretty much a load of shallow crap about a bunch of egomaniacs? Maybe I don't know enough about this website but don't you follow Britney Spears to gas station toilets and point out when Paris Hilton's airing out her hoo-hoo while getting into a cab? Then you actually have the gall to write "Who gives a s**t?" about ANYTHING?? That headline could have been written about almost everything on your site! Too funny...

60. Shame on you TMZ. These are two people who have given a LOT back to the world, not just monetarily but with their time and presence, and are trying to make a difference in the world. For a publication who does nothing but exploit celebrities and hardly gives back in any way, couldn't you have a little more tact? To have this "who gives a s**t" attitude is really pathetic. Can't you come up with a better tagline to get hits on your site? Whether they decide to marry or not is no ones business, and if you could care less, why even publish it? Right on guys...
