3571. "Anna's wishes" were that Dannielynn not be in Larry's life.
Just like "Anna's wishes" were for Daniel to not be in Billy's life.

It takes two people to make a baby and one is the mother and the other is the father. Children have the right to know both parents. "Anna's wishes" ? Were they always the best for her children? Billy may not have had the ability to fight for his child like Larry did but if Anna had not passed away who is to say that Larry would have been in Dannielynn's life by now. Remember that Larry never saw Dannielynn until after the funeral.

I think it was totally Anna's wish not to have a relationship with Virgie, a decision many addicts make when a person disagrees and calls them on their choices.....nothing unusual about that.

Virige, like you said respected Anna's wishes. Anna was an adult, she had her own child to raise. We'll never what, if anything, Virgie might have done in the beginning to try and have a realtionship. But sometimes the strongest love is walking away from the addict and hoping they come to their senses. What PROVES that to me is Anna not wanting her daughter to have any realtionship with her father----and she didnt even care if DL KNEW who her father WAS!!! To me, that speaks volumes about why Daniel and Virgie, Daniel and Billy, and Anna and Virgie had no realtionsip.......it was "Anna's wishes". IMO Anna came first with Anna and anyone that didn't like it, was gone.

It's really none of Howard's business either. Howard was ANS lawyer, that's it, when his client died he should have just went away, but he didn't did he. He has no right to DL or anything else to do with ANS, his job was done the day she wound up dead. He has made himself front and center of all the money. He sure is looking after DL every which way he can now isn't he because now she is his meal ticket. DL does not need Howard to look after her, that is what her biological father is supposed to be doing, but then again we all can see how he is looking after her.


Don't know what it leaves DL and neither do you and it is none of our business, is it! Howard will look after Dannielynn every which way he can, so stop the soap opera now, it aint working.

I agree with you completely. WHY would Anna leave her beloved ,helpless son in the hands of an abuser? My husband never allowed our children to be left alone with his father. Not for five seconds, let alone five years. Anyone who truely was abused would be the same way. Anna knew at that time in her life, that Daniel was better off with Virgie. She knew in her heart that Virgie would love Daniel and care for him. I think at some point, Anna became jealous of the relationship that had developed between Daniel and Virgie. We all know that she had a need to be loved, and sharing Daniel with anyone was not something that she would take easily.

Yes, it has been proven that false memories can be inplanted into someones memory. Then again, you have Anna telling this story so often, that she may have come to a drug induced point in her life that she herself believed them to be true. Sadly she is not here to set the record straight, or to make amends with her mother. She died on Howielied's watch, before she could find her way home.

Maybe Virgie also wants the truth out there for Dannielynn.....so the false (and true) allegations against her that people so readily believe will be proven wrong. Maybe that will HELP Dannielynn one day when she reads all this stuff. Maybe it will help DL know who to believe and who to trust, and who is interested in truth over money......I have said many times that I HOPE that when Dannielynn is old enough to make her own decisions, she does just that. I hope she gives her maternal family a chance and gets to know about them for HERSELF, and doesnt judge them by the opinions of these other people that don't even KNOW her family........remember DL would not even know her own father if Anna had her way......doesn't that tell people a lot about Anna's views on Virgie and Billy? It proves the extreme Anna would go to to have HER way.

That is the saddest part of all of this to me.....Anna not here to set the record straight. We can only hope that if she could have known where her choices would have left her and Daniel, she would have made very different decisions in her life. ESPECIALLY with her new baby......but then again, we see how Dannielynn's life was starting out already (before she was even born)......IMO DL wasn't first and maybe never would have been....even after Daniel's death, Anna thought some stupid house was so important that she fought for it before even burying her son. I'd have told FS and GBT to stuff their house sideways.....WHO cares about a HOUSE at a time like that???????? And loosing Daniel didn't soften Anna to the point that she realized her daughter had a right to know who her father was...........so maybe it's wishful thinking on my part to believe Anna would have chosen a different path if she could see the future.....we'll never know
