WWE Fans Injured -- Call in the Undertaker!

Look out below! At least 40 wrestling fans were injured Sunday night when fireworks and cables landed on the crowd at WWE's huge Wrestlemania event in Orlando.

A pyrotechnics display went haywire, sending hot cables flying in to the crowd. One victim told a local TV station, "It felt like a whip. I have a welt on my neck. Like a baseball bat hit me. It was horrible. Horrible."

For their part, the WWE feels bad. In a statement to TMZ, they say "While we apologize to anyone who was injured and/or alarmed by this occurrence, we take solace in the fact that the reported injuries were minor. "

61. I must say I can not believe what some of these people have to say on this sites blog. Further more saying people are brain dead once they enter the place just for going to the event is childish. I have attended many of these events myself and though I do not follow it 100 percent like lots of people do I must say that if you were in their shoes at and event or concert (whatever it may be) and something to this degree had happened to you who's to your numskull wouldn't be right there complaining like everyone else. I'm not goin to lie, if I pay money for my children and my family to attend some kind of event and something goes wrong, malfunctioning that they are responsilbe for you better bet your rear that I will hold them accountable for it. If it is something minor and treated there then so be it, okay we are on our way but I still want an explination even more so if there is no disclaimer about any danger involved in my wellbeing while attending the event. Incase you didn't know doctor bills these days are not cheap and the money those people pay to go to that event are outrageous. They don't think something like that will happen to them. It only takes one thing to ruin your whole day and that can do it. Imagine it happening to a kid, how they would feel after the fact. They may not want to go back.

63. Whats with that guy with the camera at the event, thought that was illegal? As for the incident itself, things happen sometimes. They risk themselves for going to an outside PPV in the first place. Granted that is no excuse; these are hardcore wrestling fans that go to Mania, so if they were to sue, it has nothing to do with injury; it would be just the fact that Vince has a lot of money.

64. Yah it was wwe's fault, but if retards start filing lawsuits it wouldn't be anything new. Thats all Americans do, try to take someone else's money. Unless you were hurt pretty bad, there is no need to sue wwe. Its just like that coffee case at mcdonalds. PEOPLE LETS FACE IT, AMERICANS ARE STUPID!

67. ok how did wrestlemania turn into Chris Benoit and road rage? what chris benoit did was wrong but who are we to jugde him. also what chris benoit did isnt the first time to happen, it happens everyday around the world but media choose to report the famous people and the companies they work for. another thing, chris beniot kill'd his wife and his son not wwe or steriods. you dont have to be on steriods to kill people, people kill people and people need to notice that or else we're all to blame for when bad things happen.

68. I really hope all the victims are all right and nothing seriously happened to them. Vinve will being getting his law suit
But the fact that this accident happened during the "DEAD MAN'S" introduction really is creapy. Espcially with the 14-0 streak, that should have shown Edge and Vicki they have something to worry about.
I can't wait till BACKLASH.

69. If you think those pyro technics were bad, just go to disneyland and see the ones there. Employees have gotten hurt and burned. Residents in the city of Anaheim complain the it snows, yes snows everday because of all the ashes created from the firewroks. They are so loud people can not sleep and car alarms go off and dogs start barking since they get scared, not to mention the babies. How big and responsible of a corporation is Disney if you are going to bad mouth the WWE. If you ask me, Undertaker is a lot better than a little rat named mickey mouse.
