Wolfgang Van Halen is the 17-year-old son of Jenny Craig spokesperson Valerie Bertinelli and ex-husband/Van Halen lead guitarist Eddie Van Halen.

Eddie went to rehab in 2007 and -- due to an undisclosed health crisis -- had to interrupt Van Halen's tour earlier this month. Valerie has lost over 40 lbs on Jenny Craig.

Proving the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, Wolfgang is ... currently the bassist for Van Halen.

Eddie used to be cute back in the day. Valerie has always been cute. It certainly did not transfer to this pumpkin-headed kid.

Oh my gosh! Valerie has always been so pretty even a little overweight, but come on Eddie thats just plain crazy why anyone wouldn't take care of their teeth any better than that! i wouldn't kiss that man for a billion dollars. Gross!!!

It should be noted that this photo of Eddie is almost two years old. It was taken prior to him going to rehab the first time. Clearly you can see the tole that drugs, alcohol and cigarettes can take on someone. Eddie no longer looks anything like this. He's gotten his teeth whitened and straightened. His hair has been cut (short). And he's gained back some weight. In all, he looks great. Yes, it is true he's back into rehab, at the request of his son. Like most addicts, there are relapses. But he's making an effort. I realize this photo was chosen for provocative purposes, but honestly TMZ, it's really cliche. Why not show everyone a photo that represents Edward now. Have at least a pittance of class.

He's a cute very talented kid and not everbody's bone structure is small and built like a rail or scarecrow. He could probably break a few of you puny guys in half.
