121. There is no such thing as a curse on any family. Apparently you are not a Bible reader. Death is all God's plan and it is going to happent to all of us. Some of us will die before others in our family. It just so happens that Eddie's sons died before him.

A "father figure" who doesn't pay his court ordered child support is a slimeball. It doesn't matter how much time he spent with his kids, if he wasn't paying support he was depriving them of their day to day needs. That is not a FATHER, that is a SLIMEBALL.

Kids don't need slimeball role models. Even if they do share the same DNA.

"Jimmy, what do you want to be when you grow up?"

"I want to be a deadbeat slimeball who doesn't pay his child support, just like the man who knocked up my mommy!"

124. To the LeVert family my heart goes out to you. I don't know what it feels like to lose two children within 2 years apart but I do know what it feels like to lose close relatives two weeks apart. You are in my prayers and may you find comfort in Jesus. I know this is a tough time for you and just know that God will put no more on you than you can bear. Too all of you so concerned about Sean owing child support I pray for you that you find something more to concern your lives and occupy your time.

126. U know its really sad to see how some people can be so cruel. The thing to remember here is a man, a son has died. My heart goes out to his mom and dad and entire family as Gerald Levert hasnt been dead 2 years and now they are heading to another funeral that was totally unexpected. To say someone is better off dead......We must be careful what we say and u never know when u are headed to the funeral home to send off someone u love and u will be sitting crying and hurting while some nutball sits up writing mess like ......he's better off dead... adnd all this kind of foolishness . Put the shoes on yor OWN feet before making a heartless statement. But if u dont have a heart u dont know any better.
My deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. Sean Levert. May God give u the strength to go through. God Bless you all.

Regardless to his personsal life he was still a human unlike some of you a**holes who seem to feel your in a position to look down on someone for their mistakes. To truth man and i use the term man loosely i would love to meet people who know you. I doubt your that great of a person and to steve walsh who the hell are you? Do you have children and if so what kind of parent are you? everybody makes mistakes and if we were sentenced to die because of them their would be no one here.

129. A man lost his life people. Three children lost theirs father. A mom and dad lost another child. How can you be so cruel and say those things. Yes he did not pay his child support but did he deserve death NO..... Just remember it could have been your brother or father. HAVE A HEART..........

130. I never thought I would see so many people making so many stupid comments. This man has lost two sons, if you can't something nice and uplifting to him, you need to keep your du--a--mouth shut. You did not know this man's business, he could have been taking care of his kids and giving the mother money. Mr. Levert, I am sorry for our ignorant people for being so rude.
We will all miss the beautiful music your sons gave us over the years.

132. I think it is a terrible tragedy to lose your life and no one should wish anyone dead .You can not come back from death. Bless him and his family.My heart goes out to you . He could have been a great father ,perhaps he did not have the money to pay child support. Just because your from a famous family does not mean the entire family have money.

133. We don't know all the details about his child support situation. Entertainers have highs and lows in their career. One year they can be making millions of dollars and the next they are stuglling to get by. The order was probally issued when Levert was making a lot of money. Once the career fades, they are stuck with a high child support order that they can't afford anymore, Let's not judge. I was one who had a deadbeat dad growing up, but now have a relationship with him as an adult. Not being in your child life is not a reason to die. I found out that both he and my mother contributed to him not being around. I was angry because he wasn't around, but thank God that he is alive so I can build a relationship with him now.

134. My heart goes out to the family, at this time. I know that we all have to go one day. However, this is a tragedy especially when someone so young dies all of a sudden.

135. It is more important that this young man is dead. His parents are once again in mourning. The children are more alone than before and are more victimized than before. Children are affected by the emotional pain of death much more than financial distress. The children are the sufferers in either case. What eill be the effects of the kids mentally and spiritually in losing their father? Hoe will they remember their dad behind all this negative pubilicity.
