"A.I." Contestant Cook Rushed to the Hospital

David CookTMZ has learned that "A.I" contestant David Cook has been taken to the hospital after experiencing heart problems during tonight's show.

We're told Cook's heart was palpitating at a high rate and his blood pressure was high as well. Producers wanted him to go to the emergency room before the show ended, but David wanted to stay until it was over.

He is at the hospital now, condition unknown.

24. Karma is a bitch. Thats what happens when you steal other artists songs, take credit for it, and don't even mention those artists names when you're given air time during the follow-up to the performance.

Give credit where credit is due and don't fool the general population that is only aware of mainstream pop music.

26. I hope it is only a Panic Attack.I have had them many times,a pulse rate up to 140 and high blood pressure as well.I'm sure he is under excellent medical care.Prayin for you David.

27. Sounds like Chris Connell is really jealous he isn't on A.I. Credit has gone to every composer of every song David Cook has sung and that is all that is required.He doesn't have to give credit to every other Joe who has sung the song before him and hasn't "made it".

You should be ashamed of yourself; especially after watching Cook GIVE CREDIT TO ALL THE ORIGINAL ARTISTS ON TONIGHT'S SHOW! How tasteless can you be, seriously? Karma is a bitch; and it'll come around and get you for that comment.

30. To all of the idiots wishing death upon David, how would you feel if it was one of your loved ones? You don't have to be a fan of his singing (he's not my favorite tbh), but David is a human being and as such we should pray for his well being.
