Britney to Rudolph - Hit Me Baby One Mo' Time

Britney Spears wants to go back to the days of the golden oldies.

Sources tells us Brit has buried the hatchet and wants to re-hire former manager, Larry Rudolph, the guy who was the mastermind behind her blazing career. Brit wanted to tar and feather Rudolph before she 86'd him last year, blaming him in part for what she felt was a bogus stint at the Promises rehab joint.

We're told nothing has been finalized, but Brit now wants him back. She can't hire and fire herself, but we're told the conservators probably will do what Brit wants, partly because they realize the conservatorship won't last forever and when it's over they don't want Brit to undo all the decisions.

Actually, it's a good idea. Sounds like Brit gets it -- kinda, sorta.

46. Who is this guy..... a miracle worker??? He'd have to be able to raise the dead (career) to help her.

47. I don't see why everyone wants to pay attention to her. She has problems, why worry about problems, everyone deals with it. Life isn't easy, especially having two kids right after each other - now that will do something to you!! That's a horrible picture as well, her acne is really out there now. Much luck to you Brit......

48. People I tried to perform my magic on Britney's career. Well I tried. If anyone can perform the greatest magic trick of all for Britney's career it will have to be Larry Rudolph. You can do it Larry Rudolph. .

Blahblahblah. You're a broken record. Can't you come up with something new? You don't know s*** about conservatorships. Learning to speak a few lines (your idea of "work"?), teaching toddlers how to "dance", and cruising around in a car doesn't mean Brit is able to care for her health or look out for her money. Exhibit 1: Sam Lutfi. Exhibit 2: Her own drunk-like dance performance at the VMA awards. Exhibit 3: Running red lights, hitting parked cars, parking in handicap spots, running over deputy sheriff's foot.

51. I think britney is doing the best she can for all the publicity she is getting! I'm sure that everyone has done something in their lives that they are not proud of. the only difference is that us "regular" folk are not in the lime light all the time and she is...people are always berating her and criticizing her every move...how would you people like it if you had to live that way??? i think she is on her way back to the top! I bought her cd and i am not a tween as some of you people say...i think britney is attempting to put her life back together! maybe we should all give her some support...

52. Will someone please tell me HOW she is talented? I totally fail to see it.

I think for all those years she was just marketing hype that the stupid pre-teen public fell for.

53. As I told you before, I smell a major comeback!

54. I smell a FLOP of Epic Proportions! All she is now is a media curiosity! She is not in the news because of her talent, she's in the news because she is a complete screw up! She alienated many of her old fans and many of the hangers on don't seem to give a rat's ass about about the living hell she has put her kids and everyone around her through! She is a nasty person and a horrible mother! And last time I herd anything about her conservatorship, it was not that it was being reduced, but extended! Dream on all you want, her days of glory are now nothing more than faded dreams wrapped around a tattered shell of someone that was never anything more than a creation of much smarter people than herself.

55. meh #52. You got it soooooo right!! She's nothing but a joke. Anyone who'd take on the job of trying to resurrect her career is going to make a bundle off of her! For her it would be a lost cause. Not only did she blow it big time, she really waa not all that talented in the first place.

56. I agree with those of you who are talking about Britney now being not much more than a media curiosity. However, I still believe it's possible for her to resume some sort of profitable career in the limelight. Even without another hit album, she seems to be in demand for plays, sitcoms, etc., and at the moment, this is due to the fact that she _is_ a curiosity. A good manager could use Britney's current notoriety to carve her a niche in which she could keep herself going for quite a while.

Of course, this assumes that she doesn't go back to her childish, unintelligent, solipsistic, irresponsible, self-destructive ways once the conservatorship comes to an end -- and I believe that it _will_ come to an end.

58. BRIT SEEMS TO BE DOING JUST FINE WITHOUT THIS GUY! SHE NEVER REALLY FELL OFF THE TOP! THIS NEW ALBUM IS GREAT, AND SHE LOOKS GREAT! SO HERE'S TO BRIT

59. 50/ParisNauseatesMe: You got it in one. Britney is a triumph of marketing over ability. (Larry Rudolph was largely responsible for this marketing miracle).

54/HooplaOinkOink: Britney is currently in demand for television appearances because after her recent tabloid antics, people tuned in to see if she could make it through a bit part without flashing her cooter or falling over. It's not because of any actual acting talent on her part -- it was stunt casting intended to increase ratings This won't last for long, and I doubt that her acting abilities will justify a lot of television work (or at least a lot of decent paying television work).

With regard to Larry Rudolph -- I don't know if anyone can rehabilitate Britney's career. But if he can't, then no one can. The big issue will if she is willing to listen to him now. Clearly she didn't before, and it was why he left the first time. We shall see

60. She is in such demand that South Park's recent episode on Britney was hysterical but also true on what a dumbkuff she is. Stan, Kyle and Cartman wanted to take a pic of Brit defecating on Butters dressed as a squirrel (after seeing her urinate on a ladybug) but instead she shoots her head off with a shotgun and Cartman and Butters (dressed as a squirrel) ran off horrified. Stan and Kyle felt bad for driving Brit to kill herself but she survived without half of her head and then sounded like Chewbacca. The boys tried to save her but the townsfolk and the Osama manager decide to kill her by flash photography much to Stan and Kyle's dismay (parodying The Lottery). When the people wanted her dead, they sang in Satanic chants ala the 1976 movie The Omen. If I were her doctors, I'd advise her to leave the entertainment business and move to say either Colorado or South Dakota and take up say training and riding horses (those pairs of brown cowboy boots of hers would work for that perfectly) or skiing or whatever. The girl made her millions and she should just accept that her career is OVER!
