"Dancing" Pro Ices Yamaguchi

Someone said that apollo was also a skater exactly the point and he won!!! They have the training, the grace, the stamina and the competitive drive to win. It comes easier for them to win. I think Apollo was up against the girl who was tall, and it was impossible for her to do some of the moves the others could even do. I think it is not a fair advantage. I think Kristi has it in the bag from the beginning unless everyone is so starstruck with priscella presley. She does look good considering her age. I have to say she does in all fairness to her.

Apolo was a SPEED skater. That might give him a good sense of balance, but it isn't comparable to figure skating, where half of your score is ARTISTRY based on spirals and hand gestures and twirling about. I'm not opposed to Kristi being in it, but it's foolish to suggest that she doesn't have an advantage here. The thing that really annoyed me was when she was being "humble" and said she "didn't know anything about placing her feet and arms." Um, if you didn't know how to place your feet and arms, you'd crack your head on the ice.

I remember reading a statement about mario lopez' mother commenting on his taking tap lessons when he was little, and people speculating, in jest, if that was fair. I thought the contestants weren't supposed to have any dance training. But, that all changed last season with the cheetah girl, who you know has had dancing lessons. So, if Dancing has changed their policy, or never had one in the first place, of people having training or not, that is their decision. But, Kristi Y should not be chastized for being in the competition. She doesn't make the rules. And to the 14-year-old who commented about the judges talking about how hot edyta is and asking jason taylor about it --- don't worry. When you're an adult you'll learn that adults in good relationships communicate with each other. If Jason Taylor said he didn't think Edyta was hot - he'd be lying!!! That in no way disparages his wife, and she probably understands that. Would it be insulting to Jason if his wife thought Mario was good looking?? Being in a committed relationship doesn't mean you're never attracted to other people ever again, it just means you don't do anything about it. That's what makes it worth it.

Kristi's husband has been in raleigh, NC playing for the carolina hurricanes (NHL) and she hasn't seen him for several weeks. She is a family person and I can only imagine how hard it is for her little girls to all be separated. Kristi is making a huge personal commitment in order to be in DWTS. She is working really hard each week. I just wish that all of these negative comments would stop!

Plus, she was laughing when she said it so I honestly think she doesn't really care or is like 'hey good for her' because in another interview they asked her about it and she said she should be proud she is well prepared for the show with her skating background.

Kristi took some ballet growing up and in her early teens. She admitted that when she was interviewed.

She said in an interview before DWTS started.

But beyond that, no. There are a lot of celebrities who had ballet lessons before and probably won't admit it though.

I don't know why Kristi Yamaguchi is even on Dancing with the Stars? She is not learning how to dance. That's a big lie and I'm sure other peoeple can see that too. She's been performing for years on ice and basically she got the same type of training. I don't think it's fair to the others, who have NOT danced and have done all those moves. They have to really work at it, Kristi does not. Of course she's good on the dance floor, she should be. I mean she's done all that before and her she probably has not stopped training. So, I think people like Mario, Shannon, Marlee, and a few others are the ones who would deserve the credit. I think some of those judges are full of it. I think it just depends on who they like or don't like. Anyways, it is unfair to all those others who work hard not to receive credit. Kristi should not be there. Period. Thank you for listening.
