I think you may be very wrong in the fact that they don't bitch while doing it. I know a few soldiers and have heard many of them complain about what they are doing in Iraq. They accepted their job just as many of the rest of us accept what ever job we have and they do it because they have to to support their families, But don't get it twisted and assume that every soldier supports and accepts this war.

I know a few young men who signed up at the beginging of the war under the assumption that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, which I believe was confirmed to be a lie. These young men who wanted to defend their country against these weapons were tricked into this war and they are not happy to be there, but will defend their country still at all cost because that is what they signed up to do.

Just because you are a soldier doesn't mean you have to be support this war or be happy to be sent over there to fight it. I wish you luck Army soldier girl and hope you come back to your new born safely.

Our constitution is set up in such a way that the civilian leadership makes the big decisions about war and peace. The military's job is to carry out the orders of the civilian leadership. This was done so the military would not take over the country like happens in so many other places. This simple concept is explained to all those joining the military. Each military member takes an oath to defend the constitution. They agreed to follow lawful orders. By publically belly aching about the situation they willingly placed themselves in they make the entire service look week and demean our entire country. We elect our civilian leaders. It is ultimately up to us as citizens to direct the direction our country moves in. Military members should serve with dignity and integrity, if they are unable to do that they should return to civilian life where they can criticize the government to their hears content. If you signed the contract than please keep your political views to yourself until you take off the uniform, as you agree to do.

188. I smoked for 8 years and was able to quit, but it took me a very long time to get rid of cravings and all. If I was under as much stress as he is, I wouldn't even try quiting...it is almost imposible. How smart can a person be when they judge the intelligence of a person by his ability to quit one of the worst legal drugs around?
