Don't Get Mad, Get GLAAD

So this is hilarious. GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) has issued a statement, responding to Greasy Bear lashing out at paps last night, using the words "nigger" and "faggot."

GLAAD told TMZ, "It is unfortunate that we live in a society where some individuals of note are harassed by paparazzi, but responding to them with racist and anti-gay slurs is simply unacceptable behavior."

Ok, where to begin. First, we didn't know GLAAD had a dog in the paparazzi fight. Second, it kinda sounds like GLAAD has a little sympathy for young Brandon Davis -- harassed by the paparazzi and all.

But more telling, when you watch the video, Brandon is not being harassed at all when he uses the word "faggot." Actually, he was just asked about his brother Gummi's weight loss, and just blurted it out. He said this an hour after the "nigger" comment and at an entirely different location.

Hey GLAAD...that's really B-O-L-D.

Robert and FIBiker, excellent work gentlemen, you have raised your postings to a whole new level of intellect and entertainment, see what a little bit of reading, proper source detail, and true wit can do to completely eradicate your opposition. Only, one minor point of constructive criticism, try not to go overboard on that "we are the most victimized people in the history of man" theme, it frankly is neither factual nor dignified, truth be told, the most victimized people on the planet as of the end of the twentieth century are the native Africans, from slavery which continues into 2008, to ethnic and cultural genocide which has exceeded 30 million, and starvation and disease due to poverty which has taken another 20 million lives.

But aside from that, your postings and banter back and forth is excellent and very enlightening and amusing.
