X17's Apology -- Greatest Understatement Ever

Hmmm ... let's get this straight, you falsely accuse someone of having an affair and then apologize -- calling it an inconvenience. Oh, that little thing.

That's exactly what X17 just did to Tony Parker and Eva Longoria. Last December the photo agency posted the scandalicious claims of model Alexandra Paressant, who said she had an affair with Tony after he married his little Eva. Problem was -- Parker had never even met Paressant! We know -- details, details.

X17 posted an apology Friday, saying, in part, "X17online.com and X7 [sic], Inc. regret having been misled by Ms. Paressant and her representatives and apologize to Mr. Parker for any damage or inconvenience this may have caused him or his wife."

In a related story, X17 apologized to Sharon Tate's family on behalf of Charles Manson for that little thing a while back.

24. Eva Longoria is a short homely woman when not packing on the makeup and designer clothes. Her husband is a wealthy athlete who prefers tall "leggy" type blondes. Well, guess what? That will be the wedge that comes between them in the future. Eva cannot withstand that sort of competition, and her husband is known locally as having a roving eye and being a womanizer. lol. Trust me, people - you haven't heard the last of these 'rumors'.

28. X17 has totally disintegrated as of late! No matter what side you take on any issue, there will be people there whose sole purpose is just to harass you endlessly! The owners do not care one bit about it and things have gotten nasty on ALL sides- esp the Brit blogs! There are constant threats to reveal personal info ( and has been done -as happened last night) to serious threats of physical violence! I have never seen a post removed no matter how bad it got either! I have seen posts close to a 1000 in #, where 80% are people ripping on each other without hardly ever a mention of the original post! It is rare to ever have an adult conversation about anything without it getting nasty! When good convos happen, the poster always notice it with surprise and as soon as they do, they are cursed and get attacked immediately! It is just a troll fest over there! And don't EVER think abut posting as anything but 'anonymous'! Trust me on that one! You think TMZ is bad? Think again!

I don't care for X17, but at least they published an apology (albeit one wrung out of them).

TMZ has many, many apologies due that have yet to be posted.
