She's totally drunk off her ass though. How can you be a former acoholic & drug addict and still just sometimes get drunk? As a recovering alcholic myself, I can tell you that you can't.

This is worrisome.

22. Leave the woman alone, she has paid her dues. She has the right to go out and have a good time just like anyone else. She wasn't driving so she can be drunk if she wants. BTW, even drunk she is absolutely gorgoues.

Nobody is a "former" alcoholic or addict. Once you become an addict/alcoholic you are always one and prone to relapse. I know people who have 10 years of sobriety, get drunk one night and then go back to sobriety for 10 years. It's part of the process. Look at Robin Williams and Nicole Kidman's husband. They tried to introduce social drinking into their lives and realized they couldn't handle it. Now they are sober again. I've met people who quit for 20 years and were able to drink casually after that long break.

Everyone is different. Some addicts/alcoholics can't recover from a night of partyting and some can. I get the impression that Drew is one of those people that can handle getting drunk on occasion. She has never been wreckless like Lohan or the Davis Brothers. She is a calm, happy drunk.

She is mumbling about one of the causes that she gave $1 million to...it's called the World Food Programme. She does a lot of charity work. I think she deserves to have a night out on the town.

29. Drew is drunk. Drew is an alcoholic. Drew is in trouble.

I hope her friends get her to meetings, or in treatment if needed. Being sober and then drinking is not "part of the process." And she doesn't "deserve" to have fun going out to a night of drinking. She's an alcoholic. She started out with her maintenance drinking of wine, now she's drunk in public. Some people are lucky and get back to sobriety after a slip. Others can't stop at all. Some people die. And there's no telling what will happen to who.

Drew needs attention fast. Hopefully she or her friends know what to do.
