Oh well. I hope they can work it out, but I think that Jamie has used that old trap of getting her boyfriend to marry her, by getting pregnant. I was only a year older when I had my son, but that was more than 40 years ago, and things were different then. I had graduated high school and was married, when I had my son. Many of my friends got married right after high school, too. I graduated high school at 17 because my birthday is later in the year.

It IS possible for teenage marriages to work out. My lasted more than 34 years, but as I said before ... things were different then. It was expected and accepted that we would rise to the occasion, once we were married and had a child. Still, we were both so very young, but we did the very best we could.

With all the unmarried parents of today, it is a very different world. I guess it will depend on whether or not Jamie Lynn and Casey can also rise to the occasion of bringing a totally innocent, helpless, VERY demanding life into the world. They have to be ready to put their child needs before their own.

Life is very different, once you have a child. I fondly remember my very young husband being jealous of the time I spent with my son, instead of him.

I hope that Jamie Lynn is nothing like her older sister, Britney, and the "mothering" instinct kicks-in right away.

Marry her, then the inevitable divorce (no Spears woman has ever been able to hold on to a man) then living off Jamie Lynn's money. The difference is KFed probably IS the father of Britbrit's kids whereas there is like no chance Casey is the daddy here. Man, these Spears kids are worse than wild animals.

68. Well 6:56, maybe some of us in society are tired of such thinking and
behavior and are voicing our displeasure. Maybe some of us think that
this is a destructive lifestyle that should be strongly frowned upon.
Today, there was almost certainly some girl deciding about birth
control and pregnancy and thought "Well if JLS can raise a kid, so
can I! She's so cool! Everyone loves her! Everyone will love me even
more when I have a cute little baby doll"
Maybe some of us are sick of Britney playing the victim after a
lifetime of narcissism, poor behavior and choices, and basically
creating her own problems! Some of us are sick of the pity she
receives about losing her kids when she did everything possible to
sabotage keeping them! Some of us are sick of a 'Me! Me! Me!' generation!
This is the reaction of those who think that this is a horrible way to live one's life!
This is our protest to a society that praises and worships such people!
For some of us, this is the very core of what is destroying our society within!
The bitter candy that rots the teeth and slows the mind!

They aren't in LA, they are away from the circus of Hollywood and they are trying to be mature and private. I just don't understand what in the world you hope to get a picture of, them shopping or eating out. Congratulations, big accomplishment there. Being a celebrity is one thing, when your in hollywood, but when you are a child trying to deal with adult issues in private, and photogs are snapping pictures of you buying a dog bed, come on. The only reason we are hearing about Jamie Lynn being pregnant is due to the fact that her sister is under the microscope! How you can spew such hatered for the Spears' family as "the worst parents" is laughable. If one of your children gets pregnant at an early age, does that make you a horrible parent?
