32. i was in the same situation as her got pregnant at16 and had my baby when i was 17 its a hard thing to go through, i fell sorry for her because she has to go through this in the lime light all i can say is good luck jaime lynn you'll get through this!!

33. I'm so amused by all these people blaming the parents and that are "shocked" she was having sex at 16. I became active when I was 16 (no I was not a tramp. He was my first and only - I married him!). Most of the people I knew were already sexually active before I was. TEACH YOUR KIDS ABOUT BIRTH CONTROL!

37. Jamie Lynn can use her baby as motivation and an impetus to move forward and make her life better. She has the finances due to her early work to not be a teen mom that is a dredge on the public system. I wish her a healthy baby, a successful and loving family. I don't condone teen pregnancy, but she took responsibility and didn't do the expedient thing - which is kill her unborn child.

My own daughter made a mistake and became a teen mom - despite having a stable and disciplined family life. She didn't give up and has one more year to go before having achieved her medical degree (after having graduated magna cum laude from undergrad biomed). A pregnancy is not a death sentence for her life, so give this girl a chance to learn and grow through this. Good luck, Jamie!

39. She should have kept this whole mess out of the public eye. She should have kept a personal descision private, and it's completely possible with the money that family has.

Don't respond to any rumors, just go on and do what she wanted without involving the media. It's really wierd, like she thinks she's everybody's family and we really care about her spawn.

Seeing her pregnant makes me glad I'm not. Go go birth control.

42. For goodness sakes, leave the girl alone! She is nothing like her sister. She is responsible, mature, and willing to take responsibility for her actions. That's more than I can say for most girls who become pregnant at 16.

43. The reality is more teens are becoming pregnant every day some because they don't think it can happen to them. I just finished a final paper on the topic and the majority say they didn't think it could happen to them! well if that's the case then where is the education about how to prevent a pregnancy if they decide to make that choice? It just seems that many are not giving her credit for standing up and taking responisbility for her actions, let's face it many teens have made the choice to hide their paregnancy and then do the unthinkable....

45. come on TMZ teenage pregnancy is not uncommon, its nothing new and "jesus take the wheel", well i'm sure he's happy that she didn't have an abortion. i would really like to meet someone that hasn't made a wrong decision in their life. we all have our faults and we deal with them and so Jamie is doing the same, i'm sure she'll do the best she can to make the situation right don't place judgment just let her live her life the best she can. god bless her and her unborn, life is a beautiful thing, embrace it.
