She is responsible, mature, and willing to take responsibility for her actions. That's more than I can say for most girls who become pregnant at 16.

50. come on TMZ teenage pregnancy is not uncommon, its nothing new and "jesus take the wheel", well i'm sure he's happy that she didn't have an abortion. i would really like to meet someone that hasn't made a wrong decision in their life. we all have our faults and we deal with them and so Jamie is doing the same, i'm sure she'll do the best she can to make the situation right don't place judgment just let her live her life the best she can. god bless her and her unborn, life is a beautiful thing, embrace it.

52. I had my son when I was 16. Hes an adult now and a good guy. I dont recommend teens having babies, but it seems like she is taking responsibility for her baby and not out partying.

54. I'm not an overly religious person but I live my life with the motto "judge not lest ye be judged". Every single person on this planet has made mistakes. Some not so grandiose as Jamie Lynn's, and some even worse. It is all a part of learning and growing as human beings. I just cannot stand to see people judge such a young one as harshly as some people on this board. She may be a celebrity but she is a human being with a heart and feelings and I would feel for this young woman, who is trying to do the right thing by being responsible and taking the consequences of her actions, if she were to read some of the hateful, spiteful comments on here. Think about your own mistakes before judging people for theirs..... remember the adage, those with glass houses shouldn't throw stones.......

55. the people I knew who were having sex at 16 were the ones who knew little about protection and cared little about themselves, most were careless and got pregnant to either keep their boyfriend from leaving or to get away from home, stupid reasons, but are very common still. young people, (this speaking from a 21 year old) seem so confused about the types of protection that most are making balloon animals out of condoms rather than wear them, schools need to step up on thier sex-education classes, because its 2008 and people are still clueless, but yet again most stars dont even go to regular school, most are home-schooled, or drop out, so lame, I had to explain to a 21 year old male roommate that the morning after pill doesnt cause abortions its just a high dose of a normal birth-control pill, people are so stupid! research the internet! read a book! god people are sooo stupid!!!!!

60. I can't help but laugh at all the really mature name calling on this post. She is a child who made a mistake. It certainly is a big mistake, but not unlike alot of you I'm sure. Oh yes, hiding behind your computers and never admitting to having sex in your teens is easy too do. Calling her a slut because she got caught having sex is very mature. She is taking responsibilty for her mistake, she could have had an abortion and all of you wouldn't be the wiser. Do you not think she didn't know that when word got out that there would be looser making nasty comments about her? Of course, I doubt she cares because at seventeen she can retire already and the rest of you are going to still be typing away judging people and barely making your mortgage payments. KARMA IS A BITCH!!!!!!! AND IT'S AMERICA, WE CAN USE ALL CAPS IF WE WANT TOO!!!!!!!!!
